Incompatible with FF23 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I love(d) this add-on but it inactivates the ability to do a search from the FF23 search box. In FF23, it must be disabled to do a search from the search box. Maybe someone can update the code?
Safety Button Needs Manual Installation Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Other reviewers have reported that the "Safety" button (one of the most valuable aspects of this add-on) is not visible on the toolbar even when it is a checked selection on the toolbar tab of the options menu. I had the same experience but a little exploration paid off.
If you select the "Safety" button but do not see it on the LinkExtend toolbar, close LinkExtend options menu and right click on the Firefox toolbar and select "Customize". In the large box containing the unused buttons, you should find the Safety button. It will be easier to identify if you had checked the LinkExtend toolbar option to display the toolbar button text. Drag the Safety button to where you want it, either onto the LinkExtend toolbar or onto the Firefox toolbar.
If you do the latter, and don't want to use the LinkExtend toolbar and search function, you can even disable the LinkExtend toolbar and the Safety button will still function the same way as if you had installed it on the LinkExtend toolbar. Problem solved.

With ver 2.4, used in "Mode 2" (Memory Fox in system tray), set to "Global Processes", and "Start Memory Recovery" selected, you save so much RAM and virtual memory that the memory overhead used by Memory Fox is trivial compared to the amount of memory you continually recover.
It seems not to de-stabilize my system, so I see no reason to worry about Mode 1 behavior any more.

I'm using Memory Fox 1.8 with Firefox 3.6.3. OS: Win XP SP-3 up to date.
I've got Memory Fox implemented without appearing in the System Tray. Memory Fox does not terminate after closing Firefox, even after many minutes. Until this is fixed, I'll manually turn it off (clicking on the green circle with the M in the status bar) before closing Firefox.

Works exactly as advertised! However, oldmankdude should edit the code to enable his own home page when selecting the "visit home page" option available when right clicking on the add-on screen's line for this add-on. At this time, doing so takes the user to Cotcaro's home page. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8b).
