Xmarks is essential to my FF set-up. I use its three profiles (work, home, in-between) to keep my identities separate and to reduce the number of bookmarks I see. I use Lastpass for my passwords and Firefox Sync for my add-ons, just like Ramthan in the review before me does.
To all who have problems, scroll down to Kerroj's remarks. I never had those things happen to me, although I log onto Macs and PCs running XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
This was a FABULOUS add-on. I will miss it sorely. Thank you for such a good service, Andy!!
Thanks so much for this fabulous add-on. It's the first thing I put on Firefox whenever I set up a new computer. Immensely helpful! I tend to have lots of tabs open and like being able to mark what I've already read (or not). I like being able to open new tabs for other links so that I don't lose the original tab. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.1-signed).
Super helpful! If you regularly search on Google OR Youtube OR Wikipedia (rather than run a Google search on any hits), you will find this add-on a tremendous time saver. Just right-click on a term, the search bubble appears (you pick the website from which to search), click on the icon and VOILA! You got your answer. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
