Absolutely disappointing choices on this 2.0 version!
Reinstalled OLD version from:
saved locally on my hdd for future reinstallations
and disabled AutoUpdates!!!
Too bad ... was an excellent extension!
use brief instead of this. It is more advanced than this and is updated. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.1).
Crashes FF6 sometimes. Browsers from other vendors Chrome, IE8, IE9 work okay. If I remove just the Live HTTP Headers plugin from my FF6 it works again. Can't use this plugin anymore. :(
This is otherwise a great program but- Please make a compatible version with Firefox 5- you guys HAVE TO keep up!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.4).
This Addon is pretty cool! The site is pretty awesome too, i was able to not only download videos but also mp3's using the search on the site.
All in all the converter works flawlessly, conversions took about 30-45seconds each.
Another vote for: Click on the group in the menu to select the last selected tab in that group.
Also, another interesting idea:
Have an option to make each group its own dropdown menu. The title of the menu would be the group's name (or possibly an icon, selected from a preset list).
[Social sites v] [Music v] [Games v]
These menus could live on the right side of the tab bar, to the left of the groups area.
This feature would be optional - the current solution is also good. This would allow you to select tabs with 2 clicks instead of 3.
I was going to write this myself! Guess I was beaten to the punch ;)
Great work, exactly as I would have written it.
MOZILLA, THIS SHOULD BE IN THE BASE PRODUCT!
Only two features for perfection: support for caldav and multi calendar. I hope these will came soon...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.7).
After being too annoyed with the extra keys that I always had to press in order to get my history-results to display thanks to Omnibar, I tried something different:
You don't actually need the Omnibar-extension to combine search-functionality with the Awesomebar of Firefox:
- Open about:config
- Change keyword.url value to another search-engine than the default Google "I'm feeling lucky" (See http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/06/12/hack-to-modify-firefox-3-address-bar-to-return-search-results-when-query-or-invalid-url-is-entered/)
- Restart Firefox
- Remove the search-bar manually if it is still visible
Now when you type keywords into your addressbar and hit enter, these keywords will be transmitted to the search-engine of your choice. See above link for some examples of other searchengine-query-URLs.
For more details on the keyword.url parameter, see: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keyword.URL
Btw, you STILL need to do a Control+T for a new tab before you search via the Awesomebar. The keyword.url parameter does not magically fix this, too ;)
Please fix the Alt-Tab issues. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.20090705).
This addon is really useful 4 someone like me who doesn't have an arabic keyboard and who is not familiar with arabic keyboard layout.Anyway I found a small bug :
for some unkown reason the following arabic letters don't render properley .
ؤ : ءءو
ئ : ءءي
إ : ءءا while this works A : إ
so I tried those settings and now they work :
(W : ؤ )
(Y : ئ)
any ideas why the previous settings didn't work ?
