My Reviews

UnMHT

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Completely unusable as for Firefox 40 beta/Linux.

No "File" menu, no context menu, keyboard shortcuts don't work.

DownThemAll!

Please fix right mouse click integration in Firefox 40. DTA entries are either missing or totally malfunctioning.

1. This is fixed, thank you!
2. I'm eagerly waiting for this option.
3. I've enabled this setting and now Firefox does nothing when I double click an empty area of the tab bar. When a Firefox window is not maximized, I can drag it using this area, but I'd love to be able to maximize/un-maximize using mouse double click. In theory single left mouse click can actually open a new tab and double click can maximize/un-maximize. I'm not a XUL expert so if you say it's not possible then OK, let's live with that.

NEW 4: This is actually an old issue, I just forgot to mention it. This add-on has some weirdness in regard to its configuration interface. Please see the screenshot at: imgur DOT com SLASH b1YSmGP

Thank you!

Several problems Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Three are three serious issues with this add-on on Linux:

1. It prevents Firefox from properly going full screen, e.g. when watching YouTube's HTML5 videos the Firefox button can be seen and the task panel doesn't go away.

2. It doesn't follow common mouse API conventions. The browser window should only close after _releasing_ the left mouse button, not when you press it.

3. It doesn't forward mouse clicks to the free space of the Tab bar. Without this extension when you double click it, Firefox will maximize/unmaximize. With this extension installed, double clicking opens a new tab.

Hopefully these issues can be fixed. I've temporarily disabled the add-on because it inconveniences me way too much at the moment.

Toolbar Buttons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A button for "New Private Tab" would be awesome.

Also, it would be nice if this addon had its OWN UI with search functionality so that I could search for actions/buttons and then this extension would add them to my bars. Manually scanning through 100 actions with an arbitrary sort mode is quite an ordeal.

Edit: yes, I meant "New Private Window". Thanks! I've found the button.

A perfect extension for the Linux users since Firefox on Linux is unable to hide window decorations.

Color That Site!

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Had to disable it in Firefox 34.0.5 because under Linux with this add-on enabled, scrolling becomes laggy and consumes 100% of CPU on _every_ website, including the ones which don't have any overrides enabled.

Edit: somehow the problem disappeared.

Color That Site!

An amazing add-on!

However I cannot change the color of the text links at forum.ixbt.com. I have to admit I cannot configure this website at all. Please look into it - there's something wrong going on.

Blank Your Monitor + Easy Reading

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

No per website settings, no way to preserve certain background images colors, a very limited palette.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.8.1-signed).

elementary Firefox

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

1. Hints are totally black - text is hardly visible (Linux). I guess hints' text is #020202 and hints' background is #000000 - that's a bad combination. Or something goes wrong with transparency in Linux. Anyways hints are broken.

2. When searching for something (via Ctrl + F), and I enter the text which cannot be found it disappears from the search bar (color = background). E.g. if I'm on this very page and search for "page" I can see it. If I enter one more symbol, like "s", then nothing can be seen.

3. Please make the reload button BIGGER. I hate Australis for that.

4. Please add styling to the The Addon Bar (Restored) extension.

The Addon Bar (Restored)

A life saver against let's-dumb-everything-down idiocy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Now that Firefox 24 ESR is effectively killed, this addon comes in handy.

And BIG THANKS for the compact mode!! Much obliged!

SmartVideo For YouTube

Please, stop embedding

On websites which don't have embedded youtube videos. Besides you do that twice for every CSS style.

Classic Theme Restorer (Customize UI)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Firefox 29 beta 1 Linux.

Issue N1: Cannot put add ons on the add on bar or additional toolbar. I drag them there but nothing happens. The add on bar only has QuietURL, Lazarus and Form History Control (they are unmovable and permanent).

I've already erased localstore.rdf to no avail.

Issue N2: Back, forward, reload buttons are *unmovable*.

Issue N3: The Uppity extension icon *cannot* be put next to Forward button.

Issue N4: Movable Firefox Menu button does *not* work.

Thank you for your effort.

Australis is the biggest Mozilla's mistake with Firefox. I want to hope they will come to their senses.

P.S. I will try with a new profile and your suggestions. Thanks again! I still cringe at what Firefox 29 has become - it's an abomination for a power user like me. Without your addon it's a mess of UI which I cannot customize for my needs. I don't need yet another Google Chrome or IE which are similar in this regard. Damn.

Uppity

Broken in Firefox 29 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

PLEASE make it possible to put Uppity next to the go back button in Firefox 29.

I hate to have Uppity God knows where.

I've temporarily switched to Navigate Up.
