Today I tried this plug-in. While, I liked the speed of the plug-in, there were two problems that I could not overlook.
1. When I open an epub from my hdd, it opens TWO browser tabs. One tab is for the epub, as if it was to be download, and the other the actual reader. One tab should suffice.
2. This plug doesn't show me how pages are in my book. It doesn't even tell me what page I am on. That is unacceptable.
If you want to use this in Full Mode you are FORCED to allow Superfish's Window Shopper plugin. Of course, the language used IN the add-on makes it seem that Full Mode only supports the USE of Window Shopper and not that it is actually installing it. I mean, Full Mode lists Ad Block Plus along with Window Shopper, but does not make the distinction between support for, and the installation.
The confusing manner in which the spyware is presented is deceitful. The developer should be ashamed of themselves for such underhanded tactics.
Like others, I my bookmarks are also thrown into a blender. Hierarchies are being compromised. What's the point of organizing your bookmarks if an add-on like this messes them all up each time it syncs,
I guess I will go back to the tried and true route. I use FEBE 6.3 and back up ALL my firefox data (bookmarks, passwords, plug-ins, etc.) to my Dropbox. It takes seconds t do a full back-up or restore. Each one is timestamped, so I always know which is the current one. Back-ups are auto, but I have to manually restore on whichever computers needs to be synced.
