Integrates Well Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on modifies the General tab of Firefox Options to include the "Preserve..." checkbox in the Downloads section. Because this is redundant of the same checkbox appearing in the add-on's own Options dialog, I jumped to the conclusion that Firefox had added the same capability in the base browser, but that's not the case (at least not as of FF 8.0) so this add-on remains a must-have for me.

NoScript may be great if you actually want what NoScript offers. YesScript is NOT attempting to cover what NoScript does (and the author clearly explains this).
All I wanted was a lightweight, quick way to disable the annoying scripts on one particular site. That's all, nothing more. YesScript works great for that. My only criticism is that the YesScript icon in the status bar is a little TOO convenient. A dirty mouse (or, more commonly, a stray brush against a laptop touchpad) is all it takes to accidentally blacklist a site. It would be nice to have an option to either disable the icon, or perhaps to add a confirmation prompt before adding a site to the blacklist.
Hands down the best Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Out of the 70+ extensions I have tried over the years, and the 11 that I currently keep installed, this one is by far the most useful to me. There are many download tools available for Firefox but none are as reliable, convenient, and easy to use for my needs. The user interface still has a few quirks but the developer is constantly updating so I am confident that perfection is near. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.1).
