hello all :)
i pretty much only post positive reviews, since if i don't like an extension i just uninstall it. i always recommend contacting the author before giving a poor review of an add-on - that is usually enough to solve a problem.
also, i'm just a happy person that likes everybody. yay!
so useful, and works great with all my other extensions. this is now one of my must-haves!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
this is a *huge* help for all those sites that use gray text! i have a terrible time reading them without this extension. now i feel like my eyes are working again. would have given it 5 stars but the icon is awful. :)
thanks for making this!
ETA: changing it to three stars because about half the time it isn't working. the icon indicates that it's turned off but neither left or right clicking turns the extension back on. but it's such a good idea - please fix it!
perfect. i use this several times per day and have never had a problem with it.
best reader i've tried. it is attractive to look at and easy to read. perfect!
Menu Editor makes a huge difference in my browsing experience since i use the tab context menu almost exclusively. i can't stand wading through useless or misplaced menu entries, and i love the new commands that this extension offers.
regardless of when it was last updated, it works just fine with all of my add-ons. and it's a great idea - wouldn't it be nice if Firefox let you customize their menus just like the toolbars? - but since you can't, this is a must-have.
if you should find incompatibilities with other add-ons, i'd suggest contacting the author for a fix rather than giving fewer stars. just sayin' :)
PrefBar can do so many things that i've been able to get rid of five or six other add-ons. i don't want any more toolbars, but since you can make it into a button, it's perfect. i really like that the drop-down menu is completely customizable, and all of the extra available buttons increase the functionality even further.
really helps to streamline my tumblr experience. amazingly customizable. better than any of the tumblr-related userscripts! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.11).
this is exactly what i was looking for. thank you for all of your hard work on this! also, i see on your Facebook page that you are extremely responsive to your users and quick to address bugs. definitely worth 5 stars. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.14.8).
(THANK YOU justtryingtohelp! your tip worked perfectly!)
this is one of those add-ons i really missed once i upgraded to 4.0... now i'm on 7.0b, and with a minor tweak to the xpi (changing the max version number; i made it 8.0) it works again! there are so many imitations of this add-on now, but this one is by far my favorite. highly recommended.
this is exactly what i needed to get rid of the over 1000 prefs left over when i uninstalled "https everywhere"! quick and easy - i definitely recommend this.
note that the extension names in the list aren't always clear, but this issue is unrelated to this add-on. best if you have some idea what you are looking for.
a simple extension, works as expected and really helps handle multiple tabs on slower computers.
midgo: just wondering why you gave it one star? the ratings/reviews section is for rating how well the extension works. if you find the description unclear, contacting the author with your question would make more sense. a poor review just makes the add-on look bad.
i was surprised how easy this was to use! it does everything i need and more - fantastic.
(please note that most of the one-star reviews are for non-reproducible issues or bugs that may well be fixable just by asking the developer - personally i don't think it's fair to give one star for that. JMHO.)
very good! made far more of a difference than other scrolling add-ons i've tried. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.13).
I love this! The only problem is that you still can't use Personas and Themes together - but you can get around that by using version 1.4.
From what I understand, the Mozilla team *is* working on this sorely-needed function.
Love it - I'm always tweaking my extension options, so this is super convenient.
Love it! Makes websites a lot more entertaining, and works just fine for me in FF 3.6.3.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.12.2).
Works great! Really makes a difference when I want to check out multiple links from one page (which I do every day); I can just click them all into background tabs and load them one by one as needed. Saves a lot of memory too!
