I modified the .rdf file for the newest version I previously linked to and posted it to AMO, as an off-site hosted add-on. Gave ownership and developer rights to those I could locate addresses for, added descriptions, tags, screenshots, and the like, for the sake of easy access through AMO.

There is a much newer version available, recommend using it instead.

snaplinks plus : A revival of the SnapLinks extension for Firefox

Newest version is 1.0.8, released on 24 Jan 2010.

The homepage is http://snaplinks.mozdev.org/
and the newest version can be installed from http://downloads.mozdev.org/snaplinks/snaplinks-1.0.8-fx+sm.xpi

I still rated it 5 stars, as the original add-on was great, and Tommi Rautava was wonderful enough to build upon and release a newer, more feature rich version.

I'm not sure why they haven't updated the versions available on here, but there is working version fully compatible with Firefox 3.5.2.

Firefox 3.5 Extension v1.4.9.3 for Windows and Mac

Top notch FireFox Add-on for Password Management, Form-Filling, & OpenID Management Rated 4 out of 5 stars

With support for multiple personas, it allows for different information to be used depending on the site you providing information, much like OpenID personas. It allows for training of new forms, and over the development cycle of this addon they have added new types, making it even more useful. It also allows for training of new fields, giving the trainer due credit if they so desire.

The only qualms I have with this add-on are the lack of some fields that are not supported yet, due to being site-specific, but in reality, are not, as they are checkboxes and fields used on certain-types of sites, such as phpBB forum profiles. Found on a ton of sites, with the same fields and checkboxes, yet when training one you still have to mark these options as Untrainable->New Type Required.

There support is quick and helpful though, and all-in-all, I'd highly recommend this add-on to any Firefox user out there.

Nice addon, but needs some new icons for new services offered by Google - ie Google Transit
