Failure to Element Hide Flash Video Ads Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Would recommend keeping Adblock Edge which it replaced which can block certain flash video ads. uBlock is unable to block these.
In reply to below . . . since I cannot figure out how to reply to a reply . . . I would be happy to do so. I will see if there is a way to privately contact you so as not to muck up the discussion and reviews.
Kudos for the help from the developer and others. I keep the above notes to keep the context. uBlock IS harder to work with and proves a bit difficult to block timed flash video ads. However, you can import your filters from Adblock Edge. This is not "intuitive." This is not a "drop and drag" or "point and click" addon. So you have to do research--go to the development page. That being written the developer and others respond very quickly and patiently to what are probably stupid questions.
A video "set up" tutorial designed for the perplexed--how to transfer filters, how to block elements, how to add new filters, "should I do this," By All That is Holy and Unholy Don't Do THAT!!, et cetera may help.

Does not seem to work with FF 4.0.

Unfortunately, the developer choose to abandon this for FF 4.0.

Cookie Monster 1.0.5 seems to work just as well as the old Cookie Safe.

Old version worked well.

I used this successfully with FF 2.0 versions. However, when I updated to FF 3.0 this would neither update to 4.2.2 nor allow you to reinstall it.
Go to the main page: http://phishtanksitechecker.com
then go to the downloads and download it from there. It will then work.
