Enhanced Bookmark Search

suggestion Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hey there!

If, like me, you've been surfing for years, and you're a heavy researcher, you've probably got several hundred (thousand?) bookmarks.

However, often times, you'll repeatedly access the same bookmark folder -- especially in one session. For example, if I'm researching wormholes (quantum mechanics) one afternoon, I may use that folder repeatedly.

But for the sake of sanity, say I have my Wormholes folder tucked away inside Science -- Physics -- Quantum Mechanics -- Quantum Foam -- Wormholes.

So here's the suggestion:

When I click Bookmarks -- have a function up at the top for something like "recently viewed bookmark folders" and "bookmark viewing history."

Because it's a pain to have to repeatedly dig through the same path.

If I just accessed the Worm Holes folder, I'd like to be able to access it again instantly.

I know this is kind of complicated. But I think it would be a great feature!

Thanks and keep up the great work!

PS There's actually a similar function when saving bookmarks. Firefox lists the folders most recently used in saving bookmarks - which is smart because you often save to the same folder in a single (or recent) session. This is the same idea -- just from the accessing end.

Menu Editor

suggestion Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hey there,

This is an awesome app!!! This is why we love Firefox!

One suggestion:

In my right click context menu, I want to be able to have two "open in new tab" functions ... one at the top of the menu, and another at the bottom. Depending on where you are on the page when you right click, the menu will either go up from the cursor or go down from the cursor. In either case, I want an "open in new tab" to be the closest button.

It's the function I use most often.

I see that in your current version, you can only have *one* iteration of any function.

It'd be great if you could add this feature.

Thanks!
