Avoid this addon, it makes undesirable changes to the browser, read the other comments.
This addons improves my experience as I close a countless number of tabs everyday, and that tiny [x] on each tab is easy to miss and put strain on my already tired mousing hand.
If you would just make this a No Restart addon, it will be much better, all addons should be restartless whenever possible.
Thanks for bringing back this important functionality that the drunk Mozilla developers have decided that's unnecessary and/or probably confusing the freaking noobs.
Why everything nowadays is being tailored to noobs? I'm not against making it easier for the average Joe, but leave a way for the power users to revert those changes, a simple config in the advanced configurations will do.
Mozilla, you need to listen to developers and power users too, before it's too late.
This addon is abandoned, it was good while it lasted. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I was wrong, an update is released, good addon is back to function again.
Thanks to the developer.
[scraped]...this addon has not been updated since 2010, so chances that it will be updated are low...[/scraped]
I hate it when developers abandon their projects and vaporize all their efforts and crap at their users, but that's life, sucks.
Start looking for alternatives dudes.
Doesn't work properly with FF18, and even worse with FF19, completely broken.
Needs to be updated.
Review Update: my only complaint against this addon was that it didn't offer a GUI, but since this has changed with version 0.0.8*, I have nothing to complain about thus far.
Very nice addon, keep it up. :)
*) For other users: The new version is still marked as experimental until it gets reviewed by Mozilla but can be had from "complete version history" link at the bottom of the page, if anyone is interested.
[scraped]A simple/minimal GUI for...but nice addon nevertheless.[/scraped]
I mostly search using Google, now I have to go to an additional context to get to 'Google search' is somewhat annoying, the default search should be left as is, then add a context menu if one want to search with other engines or search websites.
V3.0.17 "Turned off ads for now."
Why the addon file is still 240.7KB then?
It was a mere 15KB or so before the ads
And the addon is broken and doesn't work with FF18
I like this addon, shame it doesn't work with awesome bar as well...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.2).
Nice addon, if you just can make it restart-less, meaning that you don't have to restart Firefox to enable or disable it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).
Very useful indeed, I use that feature very often and now it's much easier and less mouse travel, thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6).
Very useful, and very simple! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
Most if not all good 5-stars-ratings on this addon are from one-post-users who never reviewed anything before or after reviewing this crappy addon, go figure.
Plus, this addon is now infested with more crapware, adware and spyware.
What the heck? Mozilla, please take down this addon already, pretty please?
I support this suggestion by Briaj:
"Could your addon filter by the size of the images to avoid large images?"
Infested with Adware, this is becoming disgusting, anyway steer away from this pile of crap. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.7).
One word: BLOATED!!
I just wish if there was a 0-star rating so I could use it to rate this used-to-be-good-addon, if just for the sneaky method used to display ads, I didn't enable/tick anything and I still got the ads! first No-Script (same sneaky behavior to enable ads) then this one, lost my trust for good.
Mozilla need to do something about this, really. Their reputation is being tarnished by such repetitive violations of trust.
You could've been more straight forward and transparent about it, couldn't you?
The service is completely inaccurate, and open for abuse by everybody.
There must be a system in place to take over this major shortcoming or otherwise this addon is a fail.
