Unfortunately we will see Yet Another Cool Search Toolbar :( But why really good extensions are not developed any more. This extension is #1!
Any news? Any similar extension that complies with FF3? I can't upgrade FF from 2 to 3 because of this extension.
Very useful extension. Works perfectly. Saves a lot of space on my Bookmarks bar. Now bookmarks look like buttons. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.2).
This is most needed for me extension. I am SEO and I can't live without knowing Alexa rank and Page Rank. I'm blind without this extension. I would put 6 stars if I could. What want is to make it more configurable - adding my own search engines to context menuThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.26).
Can you make it compatible with FF2?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.5).
I prefer Tree Style Tab which offers vertical tree of tabs and their management and does not conflict with Tab Mix Plus. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.3).
Must have! I have about 70 extensions installed and almost every one tends to put it's own items into context and tools menu that makes firefox clumsy and slow. With this extension you can clean your menus of items that you don't use or use rarely.
I also have feature request. It seems that some uninstalled extensions still leave their tracks in Menu Editor histroy and it makes not convenient to browse through them. Is it possible to delete them permanently from Menu Editor configs?
Excellent extension. It does what described perfectly! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
Simple and easy to use but is for newbies. -1 because it's worse than ConQuery because you can't place search engines in main context menu and organize search engines into folders in main context menu.
-1 because it works only from context menu and can't work from bookmarks menu and toolbar.
BTW, I can confirm that it doesn't work in my FireFox when IEView is disabled or not installed. The same problem is with KeywordSelection which also works with %s.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.10).
Must be improved a lot. Currently it can show either a lot of countries in status bar which takes half of my status bar, or just button that without time. It seems to me 100% logical that best way is one ciyt + it's time and you can see other cities and their times when you hover mouse over it. Currently it has no value to me because it can't show time or it can show for all cities I need taking all my status bar placeThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.91).
I find you extension smartsearch extremly useful. Previously I was quite happy with combination ConQuery and KeywordSelection. I think that you haven't heard about KeyworsSelection extension because your extension doens't do what KeywordSelection do.
This is about executing urls with %s parameter. Smartsearch executes bookmarks with %s parameter only from address bar with keyword or from context menu. I miss feature of executing %s parameter from any place. I mean that I like to select keyword on page and then simply click on bookmark on my bookmark bar. This is much faster than doing the same from Context menu (One click instead of two clicks and timely search through clumsy context menu).
Could you add this new feature in new versions of SmartSearch?
I was quite satisfied with Keyword Selection, but it seems not to develop any more and not compatible with FF3.
Simple one click tool. The same feature is in SearchStatus but you will need 2 clicks. Would be very useful if you write a extension to customize this button. E.g. to to use not DT but Whois-Search for example. Also I want creating unlimited number of such buttons: for DT, for WhoisSearch, for DNStuff, etc. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6).
This is #1 among my extensions. Simply by making bookmarks with %s as search term I create as many needed "extensions" as I need. Search Google, WhoIs, Backwards, Open link, see number of indexed pages, translate word - Everything with just one click! I combined it with Smart Bookmarks Bar and now have a lot of icons on my Bookmarks Toolbar that save space and actually are not bookmarks but real tools.
Please make it compatible with FireFox 3.0, because I can't upgrade just because of this must have extension
