Made a mistake, not ghostware! Apparently there was some weird issue with firefox that said tab mix plus was no longer supported, but if you go to the page and install it from there it works. Also there is no option to change or edit my previous review, so my review where I called it ghostware is stuck there.
And apparently there is an "edit" option. WTF firefox!? Let me get out of here, before I end up looking even more foolish.
Firefox isnt the same anymore without this, shame its no longer supported. There have been 3 firefox updates since this extension just died. Big shame, gonna miss this one. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.4).
I really love this plugin and its Latin American programming, especially the Venezuelan channels, all that stuff is like forbidden in the United States. Thank you so much for making it happen.
My only request is can you please give us the option of having a tool bar or a single button with all the options. The toolbar takes up too much area space and it also takes extra memory, where as a button does not take any space, can be added anywhere on the browser and is not as memory intensive as a toolbar. Allot of developers have also made a button that can open and close the respective toolbar. That works too, but a single button with the same options would be better. As for the search bar, firefox already comes with great search bar options. Two search bars is unnecessary. Please, we would like a TV-Fox button!
"Tab Pop up" and "Tab Preview" do the same exact thing as this, except for all the cool stuff. Tab Scope got all the extra cool stuff covered. Word up.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.6).
You can't drag and drop any of the buttons to combine with another toolbar? What is that about?!!! That is the number one rule in toolbar design! How the hell is someone supposed to save space on the screen if you have a bunch of cheaply designed toolbars that you cant combine??? I cant believe this. Im deleting this tease toolbar immediately and donating to the very next toolbar that at the very least has the basics right. What a shame. You get 4 stars for the tv stations but 3 stars taken back because of the total disregard to the basics. One star. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.0). 1.1.8 is already out in the Fox TV website and it works on the latest version of firefox 3.5.1.
But why would someone make a firefox plug in, update it in their website but not in the Mozilla website? Hope it updates soon, people should have access to this. We are very isolated from the outside world here in the United States. Great add on by the way. My favorite channel is Venezuela's Vive TV. I love watching forbidden programming and other forbidden things.
I just got addicted to Ubuntu and will be using that instead of Vista forever. I got tired of having to pirate everything and all of the nonsense microsoft puts people and their pcees through. I had also gotten accustomed to watching Viva TV from Venezuela using your very useful plugin, but it does not work on linux? What a shame, is there going to be an attempt to fix this for us freedom folk in the near future? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.5).
This series is by far the absolute best theme for firefox. Ever since firefox 2 this theme has been struggling with only the red one working. I can never forget the orange one and how nicely it went with my desktop, widgets and object dock. Even my girlfriend at the time wanted the pink one, but they never got updated. Now that firefox 3 is out, It would be very strategic for the firefox developers to put together a special team just for this series. Firefox looks ugly without these themes. It's just not the same. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.96).
