My Reviews

NASA Night Launch

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I always choose dark themes, but this one just has a few too many problem areas for me. The tabs are VERY hard to read (other than the current working tab). And I don't like that all the folders in the Bookmarks list are gray, making them look too much like too many bookmarked pages that don't have colorful self-icons, as well as other things. If I had some ability to change folder colors in the bookmarks, I might be able to live with the almost impossible to read tabs, but with both of those issues being a big problem, I won't put myself through the frustration. Just looking at these tabs again as I write.... my god, they're almost impossible to read and very hard on the eyes. Sorry, bye-bye NASA Night Launch.

OldFactory Black

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I really like the look of this theme, but after using it now for about 2 weeks, I just can't handle it anymore. I tried to learn to live with the few problems I had with it, but no, I need my interface to be better. The smaller problem I had was ironically the small font in so many places. The bigger problem was that when clicking on something like Bookmarks, all subsequent dropdown submenus were not aligned with the parent bookmark. Example: I have a main bookmark folder named Games, and there are subfolders under that for each game I play, and sub-folders under many of those for various pages pertinent to that game. But when you click on Bookmarks, move cursor down to Games, the subfolders show to the right but are so misaligned with the main folder that it's a very complicated matter to try to click on the subfolder you want, and if you get further down into more subfolders, it gets even worse. It is one MAJOR PITA to use the Bookmarks feature on Firefox using this Old Factory Black theme. I can't deal with it anymore, sorry.

Gradient Brushed Metal

Back for FF3 and better than ever Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was happy to see this theme's FF3 update available, as this has always been my favorite Firefox theme. I do prefer the non-shaded text in the personal toolbox area, however, so many thanks and kudos to the creator for providing the same theme with the non-shaded option. You can get it at his site at http://www.freewebs.com/agedwood/GBM-FF3_normal%20font.xpi (there's also a link for it at http://www.freewebs.com/agedwood/)
