A thousand times thank you! Works on the nightly 17. Hopefully the popularity of this add-on will bring mozilla to it's senses. Switch-to-tab is really one of the worst features they added recently, the fact you can't disable it is even more frustrating. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).
A greatly needed add-on, with all the corporations trying to learn everything about us. Do yourself a favor and don't give them the chance! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7.2).
Hi, i submitted an issue on github, but i guess you didn't notice it so i'm writing here to get your attention : https://github.com/scrapmac/UIEnhancer/issues/24This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.5). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
First of all very, very good job. It looks awesome (with Danneh's style so if you can, please add it to the add on asap :) ), the algorithm does a marvelous job at parsing the URL and gives awesome results.
One thing though, when using the breadcrumb design the firefox window only re-sizes to the length of the the URL. It basically cuts part of the window away. Try going to a site with a huge URL and try to make the window smaller, you'll see what i mean. Please fix this, it's really a deal breaker, very annoying.
Other than that awesome add-on i recommend it to everyone!
It is still in development, so you have to be patient, because it has some problems. Still the performance is awesome and it is being constantly worked on, I'm looking forward to the final version and the day when firefox is going to be my default browser and pdf reader. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.0).
A simple and elegant solution to my problem. Does exactly what it promises. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).
Overall it looks freaking good! Kudos to you for making in so quickly. The conditional forward button is also a nice touch. May I ask you to create a theme following this mockup: http://people.mozilla.org/~rcampbell/images/DevTools-i01-%28Win7%29-%28Aero%29-v04.png ? The rounded tabs look nice but they don't really fit in this nice, lightweight theme. They are a bit to chrome-ish for my taste as well. They are very disturbing with lots of tabs, especially in overflow mode.
EDIT: Another thing I've just noticed - you removed the favicons in the urlbar. Looks nice but now there is no way to create a shortcut to a website without first bookmarking it.
Awesome add-on! Couldn't live without it. After showing it to my friends they started using it too.
It's really easy to use, with many functions as generating secure passwords and filling forms when you are registering on a site. It offers many settings and options for customization and it's updated frequently.
Now I only have to remember one password even if every site I'm registered to has a different password. I was one of those who don't thrust storing passwords in the cloud but I can assure you it's Ok. All the passwords are encrypted and fully protected. If you are afraid about losing your passwords you can always export them to your PC. If this doesn't suit you move along to another password manager - but be warned, I've tried them all and none of them comes even close to LastPass.
As for disabling Firefox's password manager - that's actually a benefit. Last Pass is by far better than the built in manager.
Plus it's free. What more could you wish for?
Now this is one of those add-ons i didn't expect to see before the release of FF4. Good job, really a feature i wanted to see - tabcandy / panorama is nice but i don't feel like switching to it all the time. Also the fact that you can also reorganize the tabs in the menu makes it extra useful. Really good add-on which also demonstrates how the new jetpack add-ons work. Thank you! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.7.3).
gharris The drag & drop shortcut function still works. All you have to do is select the URL in the address bar and drag it. It works as it should (at least for me). I hope this information proves useful to you or anyone else. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.1).
Awesome add-on. I recommend to install the beta version which works extremely good and is even better than the "stable" one. But you can only get the best experience by installing the add-ons listed in the description.
There is only one flaw IMO. It would be nice if the bookmarks menu opened when you drag a bookmark over the Bookmark button. Because with the current configuration you can't drag a bookmark to the menu. I hope to see an update soon.
Thanks to the developer for the awesome add-on(s).
PS: You can't use Tab Mix Plus with this theme, however you can get the Tab Utilities add-on and get the same functions without any problems.
The theme looks pretty good. It is similar to the Firefox 4 mockups.
However there are two things that i don't like :
The close button on the tabs is a little to small and, i'm using the Add-on Personal menu. The theme "Classic Remix for Windows 7" had an icon for the menu button but this one hasn't. I would be very glad if you add it into your next version. Otherwise EXCELLENT THEME!
