My Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension to convert text to Cyrillic letter.

Хвала за одличну, корисну алатку!

Find All

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very nice add-on, but it always cover approx 1/3 of screen, even if there are just 2-3 matching words shown (and there is a biiig blank gap underneath.
Change that to auto-adjust, and I'll change rating to 6 out of 5 :)
SOMETIMES, I am also not able to "focus" on the word that is not currently shown in display (it's needed to scroll down to find the word) with selecting the row in result list. I often have to scroll a bit up or down to find it.
I'll try to use "Find To Center " extension with this one, and see if it works...
Otherwise - does great job! - THANK YOU for great add-on!

Auto Context

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very nice extension, but

I used this extension a while back, and I am quite sure it was able to save selected text to a file AND to automatically add the WEB adress of the site where I copied the text from.
Now, I went trough Auto Context Options few times, and I can't find ti turn this option on :(
Can someone give me a hint?
P.s. - there were few extensions that was able to do the same thing for FF2.X (as STF) but now I can't find one of them functional... :(

Great extension! Too bad it's not updated! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension! Update, please?

@anyone else:
Does anyone knows of an extension which does the same thing?
I tried "Auto Context", but it saves only the text, and if I remember well, this extension used to save the web address in that file as well...

p.s. - I remember that I tried 2 different extension approx a year ago: both did the same thing, the only difference was that one of them added web address infront of copied text, and the other one added it after the inserted text.
Now I can't find the other one neither! :(
Can someone give me a hint? :)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have changed few other extensions, and every time something was missing.
This one even didn't sound so great at the first glance, but eventually - it is on my "must have" list.
Thank you for easyng my life...

Multiproxy Switch

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I tried Foxy Proxy, and, unfortunately, I didn't managed to make it work in 5 minutes:
I wanted to set the proxy for 2 different firms:
- from my firm to use xxx proxy,
- from the firm I am working part time - the yyy proxy.
It should be as easy as to set http proxy, and to right click on the status bar icon and use the right "use xxx/yyy proxy for all pages" or similar.
It didn't work.
I must specify that I didn't try to read any help or anything (I am sure I would be able to configure it right if I had time to search the faq, help e.t.c. - but I didn't have time)
I installed Multiproxy Switch - the "manage proxies" is ridiculously simple.
I entered the 2 proxies, right click on the right one - and it works...
5 stars for Multiproxy...

Download Statusbar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

me again - just to say: it is possible to open download history in tab, it is just well hidden ;)
So: click on the "downloads" header in "Full mode", choose "download history", then "options" again (in that new window), now, it is possible to define "Behavior" as open in "Tab".
So - sorry for jumping the conclusions :)
Thanks again. Here goes 5 stars again!

Download Statusbar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for this Excelent add-on!
It would be nice though if I could open download history in tab instead in (rather small - non-resizable window...)

Favicon Picker 3

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Folders! Folders!

Download Statusbar

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I gave it 4 instead of five stars just because I think it would be nice to add few options:
- right click to open in tab - sometimes it is better to have a full oversight of downloads, especially if there are more of them (the "Download History" opens a new window - it would be nice to do it in a tab).
- minor thing - it would be nice to have mini buttons like "remove" - and not just from visible list, but to cancel the download, "pause/resume" directly in full mode, and in mini mode on action "right click"...
The bottom line: very good extension, just few more options and it'll be perfect, as far as I am concerned... :)
Thank you

Set Icon

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

One of the major lacks of the favicon was not being able to set an icon for the folders - at least as I am concerned. As I understand - Set Icon is straightening this up - now all I have to do is to wait until FF 3.1 is standard so I can use all of my other 50 extensions with this one...

Bookmark Duplicate Detector

Excellent Extension, but Needs some Boosting Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful extension. But - it is not much of user-friendly as it could be.
I know that the name says "Bookmark Duplicate Detector", but it would be useful if I could be able to:
- delete the detected bookmark from this very list, if I find I don't need it anymore. (right click option or smthng like that)
- select multiple items, and trough right click be able to delete duplicates, and move the residual one copy to selected place.
- do the eliminating easier - now I have to click on an item in the upper list, click on the lower list (or 2x "tab" - the OK button is not logically placed in the middle), scroll to desired duplicate and click on delete. For every copy of it. I used to have 4,5 duplicates, and it would be nice if I could multi-select them and delete with 1 click (once you make some order - it is not so important). And I have to click on next item in an upper list - it is not selected by default (what else could I do but select the next item?) - again - this is not worth mentioning if you have few duplicates. But if you have hundreds...
Don't get me wrong - my conclusion is:
This is an excellent extension - it could just use few more options...
p.s. - thank you for letting us have this extension. It is more then excellent for money we are paying for it :) Please understand this review of mine as a help to make it even better, rather then as a critic :)

Best extension of his category of Firefox - and this is why: Rated 5 out of 5 stars

"Best extension of his category of Firefox, really much better than his competitors" - I second that. The reason:
Unlike the others, this add-on CAN use the same search add-ons that I add to search bar with extension "Add to Search Bar" - customized ones.
The others can use just predefined search engines (you can add others, but with editing "chrome" file... - not so easy like here. Most of us has no experience nor time to do this)
Thank you Vasa for this helpful add-on!

"Shadow912, could it not be possible to put the updated conquery addon on the mozilla addon page?
Installing add-ons from other websites just seems dodgy." - I second that also.
If I haven't seen the post in review that refers to version for FF3 - I would have miss it - and the life would be a bit harder then now :)
p.s. - ordering the engines in "options" could use little tweaking - you have to click on a file 1x for 1 position movement. Dragging or multiple move per 1 click would be nice - though I did make an order only once - and once in a while adding new search engine is not hard.
Perheps "copy search bar order" button in "options" would be nice? :)
"Show" button is a nice touch though. You don't have to delete some search engine - you can turn it off for a while, and if you realize you don't need it anymore - you could delete it later. :)

Favicon Picker 3

Excelent! Only Folder Icon Support Needed... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi, thanks for this great extension.
I rated it 5 stars, although I would really like to be able to change a folder icon also.
Of course - I'm aware - this is a freeware - so again - thank you very much.
p.s. - googling the net I have found few sites that refers how to change folder icon manually:
Now, as I am not a programmer, I can't make an extension from that input. Maybe you or someone other could do it when you find some free time...
Best regards,

Menu Mod

Enhanced “Save As” options… Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good idea, now there is more space for my Forecastfox, but I think I have a good one too.
Being an extension junky, I have more then 15 of them added. Now my context - right click - menu is too long, and some of my favorite options are positioned at the very end, so I have to scroll, and scroll, and scroll...
I'm afraid that my mouse wheel is going to be worn out soon ;)
As there are some of options I NEVER use – wouldn’t it be great if they were repositioned or excluded from menu (with for example ctrl – right click override option)?
So - I have started to take a look at "extension making" stuff - only - being a completely amateur - it is not so easy...
Also I am thinking that would be useful to add some options to save (anything) – like auto rename, series continue (if I have 14 pics with name “Yamaha R1 ’05 – xxx” click on it with for example “auto continue series” field checked – the new pic would take that name + counter would be increased…
Now that I have spoken, here are some more ideas:
It would be great to have another option when you click “save (as)…” – on the left-hand side we have “My Recent Documents”, “Desktop”, “My Documents”… - but I think that would be very useful if there was a “My Shortcuts” or “My Links” – that would let us jump to specified (modifiable) directories…
I wish You all the best and hope that You will be using some of my ideas to make surfing easier…
P.s – it would be nice if we had document title by default placed in “file name” field when we click on the “Save (Page) as…” option – but I think I saw that option in some extension…
