It's a miracle! Nice to see Sage finally revived. But it still has a fatal flaw for me. Like for the WebbAlert feed, it put an .mp4 as an enclosure, rather than the Flash as viewable right there in the feed like Brief does (which is the new #1 since original Sage stopped updating IMO). Also would be nice to have counts on the feeds list like Brief does. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.0).
Amazing piece of work! Goodbye google toolbar, etc. forever. Really sticks between pages too! A+++This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2).
Decent pop checker. Just needs to fix "test account" button (doesn't seem to do anything), and fix up the english text. :)
dudex is right, there is a problem with an html page containing an image you want to save. When I view such a page, like when viewing an image opened from a thumbnail gallery, I can save the image myself using FireFox's "Save Image As..." command; however, about 90% of the time, when I use Bazzacuda's Ctrl+Alt+L that should do the same thing, I get one of those damn "tsk tsk, you tried to direct image link" replies from the site. Can't it be made to just save the displayed image normally??
Cool, it works. When first install, my Bookmarks Toolbar Items item disappeared from the menu bar (where I keep it); relocating the tab counter to a different toolbar restored it fine. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
Fabulous extension! I needed some way to play tiny embedded streamed videos in the normal resizeable media player, and this did it quick and easy. Being able to save other media files (non-streamed) is a nice bonus.
And dude, it does work with cnn.com video just fine (tested with some .asx there).
Make that a 20! Nice to see some conveniences added, AND performance improved. Best rss reader extension I can find. Thanks again for your work.
Minor issue: If you are familiar with the extension Snap Links, it seems Brief does not allow it to draw its rectangle on the window to select links e.g. Can that be "fixed"? Thx again
