Works and looks fine, I just wish this could be enhanced to let you pick and choose only the commands you want to have icons on (and even let you set an icon for any command). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0).
Works as advertised, made by the official source.
The user who claims this addon taxes the cpu is, well, crazy. It's just a simple extension that adds a command to the context menu (but then who knows how linux affects the firefox process?). And another user who said it breaks sites must have had some other conflict completely unrelated to this extension.
One of the few near-solid shades that works best for me.
The best modern context search add-on around today!
Recommended to use "Add to Search Bar" add-on with it to add search engines easily.
This is always the one I leave on the most. :)
Definitely the new king of convenient image resizing, especially since the "ImageTweak" extension seems to not work properly anymore.
Absolutely fantastic function. Exactly what I wanted. Bravo!
"Classic Theme Restorer" was overkill for me, because I actually like the new Australis look and only wanted the sloppy wasteful vertical toolbar space fixed. "Australis Small Icons" does JUST that, and without having to lose the new style of the back/forward buttons. Plus, even more window titlebar space is reclaimed, and the overall spacing is perfect. Awesome job, well done!!!
All your tat ones are great. :)
Pretty nice. :)
Hey, I really like the whole new Firefox 29 look and customization deal, so sue me! And thanks to its newfound speed, I actually switched back from Chrome after having been on that for a few years (the new look sure helped prompt me to :)). However, one annoying thing about the new look is the slightly wasted vertical space of the toolbars, making it look sloppy. This extension can make that go away easily, while still maintaining the new look. Everything else it can do is a BIG bonus! Highly recommended!
A small request would be the ability to change the default light-blue color of the tabs and toolbars, while keeping the default window style (sure, solid-color personas can change the color easily, but they also always overlay the window style).
When I uninstalled this extension it removed all the engines I added while I had it installed.
Amazing advancement over the old standby "Redirect Cleaner" (and the even older "Redirect Remover")! Really smart idea having it only clean a link on the fly when navigate to it, rather than wasting time cleaning all links on every page load. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199.1-signed).
Thank you for making a viable alternative to flagfox.
However, it needs to have the same info and menu accessible from the url bar flag icon (which should be on by default). Also, it displays erroneous info about internal network IPs, for example it shows 192.168.0.6 as being in Italy.
And as noted, had to get the most recent 2.8 using the ftp archive! (So I assume this extension doesn't get updated very often and/or may not update it's IP database enough too.)
Very nice, similar to Google's own dictionary extension for Chrome.
The customization dialog should be accessible from the add-on manager. Putting it on the Tools menu that is not visible unless your firefox is in old menubar mode is not cool.
Requiring quicktime for the pronunciation feature is a major drawback; using native or flash would be preferred.
Works perfectly with Firefox 17.0.1.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Seems vid size setting still doesn't do anything. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.971).
My new favorite context search add-on! It's simply brilliant how you can have exactly the engines you want outside the submenu, and in any order. Plus the fact you have control over how the search tab opens (or uses current) is a huge bonus. Well done.
One suggestion I would like to offer is have a visual guide in the manage engines dialog showing what you have selected for each engine (like if it is set to site search, if is outside the submenu, etc.).
(July 2012) Doesn't work with WatchESPN so had to remove.
(May 2014) A couple years and several Firefox versions later and just couldn't get it to work on most sites I tried.
Oh well, this add-on development seems dead anyway.
Firefox auto-updated this to 0.25, only to find it disabled on restart stating it's not compatible with 13.0.1?! Wow. OK, mistakes happen, so will overlook this major oops once. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.25). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
