French spelling dictionaries

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does its job Rated 4 out of 5 stars

As far I found it does the job it says it does.
What differenciate it from other well known addons which provide great protection levels? Well, I appreciate the easyness (right clic, that's it) and the informations Safebrowser makes available for each page (button [i]).
"Super safe" text only option: is cool :) Now for the many sites who require javascript, this addon still let _you_ cope with that :/

Uncheck Stay-signed-in for Google Login

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I get no blue (MX3 5.4.8). Now everything else looks quite well polished! There's a lot of work in here. Talented work.

Works nicely on TBird 24 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Woooh, it _does_ delete the attachments, letting the (text) messages intacts or if I want, removing them (with optional backup of the messages in html format). This is configured in the third tab in Preferences "After extraction". Note: One has to tell the extension where to save the attachments for it to work ;)
Now I can save a great deal of room (and speed in TBird most probably) by deleting aaaaall these attachments from hundred of messages :-) A big thank to Andrew Williamson!

Bookmark Duplicate Detector

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Though I was able to install it on Firefox 26, it's realy not worth the trouble as:
- listing the dupes is the only working feature of this addon on newer Firefox
- other, up-to-date addons* does the same job (and more), without having to force the installation of an older, Firefox 1-3 addon.

* e.g. Bookmarks Checker by FVD Media, or Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner by Anders Lindmarks which shows you the folders where the dupes are located :-)

Show Parent Folder

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This gets me back to organizing my "knowledge", as I need to know which matches are in which folder to organize (clean, tag and so on) the bookmarks folder hierarchy.
Thank you Alice White!

Last changeq made me really unhappy with Categorize Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Using Categorize for a few years now, but last week changes made it a no-go unless I find a way to revert them.

- Privacy policy
- Organizing bookmarks features (Tag and categories :)

Cons :
- Hijacking Firefox's Navigation toolbar with a useless one: Makes the many features I use in the toolbar, like CTRL+L shortcut to type or copy the url, one clic choose between dozens (specialized) search engines, displaying page and server's technologies, ... unavailable!? And that is still the case if you choose to not display Categorize toolbar.
- Recent update also killed the CTRL+B, CTRL+H shortcuts to display Categorize's sidebars, also without clear notice to change or opt-out these "features", whether in the Preferences panel or the doc (which still displays these shortcuts as the way to go).

What's this "Browsing simplified" anyway? Where is it that to be able to categorize my bookmarks I should "simplify" (i.e. hijack) my browsing as a whole?

Deactivated it in order to be able to work efficiently using the up-mentionned toolbar features. Will activate it back if Preferences allow to easilly organize my bookmarks without hicjacking my browsing experience. Otherwise will ne uninstalled.

Firefox 20 Support is ready on the addon's website. And Steve (author) says it will be available here on Mozilla as soon as it has been reviewed by the Firefox team.
A very usefull addon for many usages, e.g. blogging, emails, webdeveloper and so on.

Location Bar Enhancer

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Kudos to the developper!

Foobar v2 works perfectly here, with several dozens Search Engines organized in folders, and extensions already sitting in the Address Bar. Which sister extension Omnibar doesn't.
Looks like Craig did the job with this rewrite :)

Omnibar is very nice, even on a large screen. But it breaks Functionnality of still more usefull extension like « Organize Search Engines ». As it does that, I can't use it :-(

Modify Headers

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Kuddos for M Gareth Hunt, this extension is very simple and incredibly usefull!
(well, provided you need to MODIFY HEADERS in the first place ^_^ I can't believe the amount of noobiness, navel-gazing and arrogance combined in a few comments).
Just open it from the "Web Developer" Menu, clic "Help" and you're started. Takes less than a couple of minute if you know e.g. the headers you wanna modify :-D

Babylon Dictionary Word Search

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Fast, efficient, un-intrusive. I love it.
Note: Supports translating FROM Arabic (from any language), not yet TO Arabic.
It'd be great if this feature would be added as @AD187 said.

Gmail Manager NG

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

First, works simple great.
I use it with CookieSwap to auto-login on various Gmail accounts in seconds :)
The fact that it doesn't work with Google's 2-step authentication makes trouble. Please can we test and help?

TidyFox - Fast Access to Your Sites!

FF 17.0 (Linux) n'affiche aucune entrée / rien / nada.

To the author: your add-on is useful and beautiful. We miss it now it's not available with Mozi's Firefox fast release system. May we we know if you'll come back to it, please?

Thank you David Morrison for this neat and great add-on :)

HTTPS Finder

Easy to use companion to HTTPS Everywhere Rated 5 out of 5 stars

As its name suggests, HTTPS Finder detects whether a web site allows for encrypted connection, then automatically add it to HTTPS Everywhere. If you rather then you can also add the site to HTTPS Everywhere whitelist (not encrypted).
Just nice :-)

QJ is an excellent add-on that does what it says it does :D
With some usage it eventually allows to save memory (and freezes) on broken Javascript/whatever pages.
Now I totally agree with joebt suggestion (on September 1, 2012): QJ would gain a lot of usability when it allows for SMALLER icons. Try it on a small device / window and you know what i mean if you have just a few other add-ons icons: you can't see them all as soon as QJ is activated (or has to reduce it to, e.g. javascript and Flash, loosing the others)
