How to handle Youtube https protocol? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for your great add-on. It works like a charm with URL like 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=........'.

But I am wondering how to make this extension work with Youtube HTTPS. When you signed in youtube, it seems that Youtube needs CA-Certificate to validate an https connection, so VLC got an error message when you pass the Youtube https url to VLC:

VLC is unable to open the MRL Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=........'. Check the log for details.

Check Menu - Tool - message:
main error: TLS client plugin not available
main error: open of `https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=.....' failed

Any solutions?
Either remove "S" when you send the HTTPS URL to "VLC' from "VLC Youtube Shortcut" or something?
Thanks

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1-signed).

Thank you for the review.
Sorry for the late reply, I was testing out your problem with HTTPS, and it always works on both Windows and Linux. I'm sorry that you are experiencing problems with the addon, but I can't recreate the bug.
