Can url be not escaped when expanding alias Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I used %s to replace alias argument. In my case the argument was perforce depot location like //work/some/folder/name the "/" got replaced with "%2F" I was wondering is there modifier like %s which won't do html escape.

One of the most useful addons. Have used it for for years and it is solid. Only request is option to make it not case sensitive. I frequently type in an alias with caps lock on and it doesn't work. Also I will never create an alias with caps.

It does similar with what Alfred app can do but in some case it's better than Alfred.

No tab context menu Rated 4 out of 5 stars

the packaged xpi contained bad fs and xul files which won't provide the tab context menu. Put back an old urlaliasOverlay.js and urlaliasOverlay.xul will fix the problem.
Cheers.

I seem to be missing the purpose of this extension Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'm asking this out of curiosity (rather than as criticism), but just what does this add-on do that a regular keyword can't?

Version 2.3.2 - Eats up memory (2x) Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This add-on is great. It does what it says and better than most url shortcut add-ons. My biggest complaint is that it eats up 2x the amount of memory as Firefox does without it. I don't know if it's a bug or it really requires that much memory. But I will probably disable this add-on until it gets fixed.

Missing "Add URL Alias..." in context menu Rated 1 out of 5 stars

does not work under Firefox 26.0 (context menu entry is missing) ....PLAESE UPDATE

Missing "Add URL Alias..." in context menu Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've got the same problem that appeared with FF version 24 or 25. By reloading an old version (21 or 22) I've got the context menu working fine again and after upgrading straight to 25.0.1 it was still working ! Becomes more and more common with extensions and the increasing number of FF versions.
Impossible to live with such a great plugin ! Thanks to developper !

@ Jimmy69Kat

I sent an email to the add-on author about this. There is some code missing from what was in the previous version.

Such a helpful add-on! Thank you very much. Could you make it work for seamonkey? P.S. I've modified it, by myself and for myself. Now it works for SeaMonkey as well )

Superb, super-simple, small and to the point. Does what is designed for and works like a charm! Speeds-up my daily work. Thanks!
P.S: I recommend creating the below alias to access it's configuration by just typing "alias":
alias chrome://urlalias/content/
