Good one Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Makes the awesome bar look pretty and bit useful too. Can improvise it to add some other useful functionalities. Like displaying the actual URL with some shortcut, And allowing user to copy the address...
Already present features
Hi, the two things you have asked are already present. Do look into the description of the addon.
Long URL warnings Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Sorry but I, as many people, have exactly the same problem than already reported by a guy you've sent to Github because "abusing". No, he doesn't abuse. He says what he has to say here in a place which is made for reviews. When there is a big issue it is here a good place to tell it, because it is here the place where other users will come to see what are the plus and the cons of a product. This message "This page has a long address, etc." is so frequent that it becomes absolutely boring, and not only that but also it makes the page shiver without any possibility to cease that behavior. So either you remove definitively this message either you will loose probably many users which were previously very happy of this plugin!
And about Github, I would like to recall that it is a platform which is more for the developers and testers than for the end users! An end user is not necessarily someone versed in IT... and also you should put yourself at the place of a single user: to add comments to Github it is required to create an account! So... create an account to simply leave a message? Addon.mozilla.org is ALREADY a place dedicated to introduce the plugins to the users and with places for comments by them!
Until now this plugin was absolutely wonderful. But since the day this new message appeared the first time it now appears 50 times a day! And with in addition the consequence of making the page shiver! So this plugin is hugely decreasing in its interest if this issue remains still longer.
"Abuse" as a noun means improper use of something. You can look it up.
Regarding the message. I personally have tried numerous time to reproduce in fresh profiles and for me, everytime it only shows once. Once I have chosen between ending or beginning, it goes away on any new long url page.
Lastly, I think only a single person apart from you have complained about it till now.

"This page has a long address. In these cases, Location Bar Enhancer hides some part..."This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Can you please stop abusing reviews for feature discussion/bug reports? Please use github issues for such things.

Does not work on FF Nightly Rated 5 out of 5 stars
No effect on Ver. 45.0a1 (2015-12-04)!
On the other hand it works, and is quite useful, on released versions.
Version 5.3 should be working
Doesn't work in Firefox 44.0a2 (no effect at all, seemingly) Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I really loved this addon for firefox, I liked it more than Location Bar ^2. But, it doesn't do anything for waterfox, while most addons work fine with it, so I can't use it any more. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.2.1-signed.1-let-fixed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Great idea, but too many bugs Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This extension significantly improves usability and functionality of the location bar.
Unfortunately, although this extension has great potential, it currently has too many bugs to recommend.
The github repository lists many of these bugs, but there have been no bug fixes recently. It's free, so there is no expectation; I just can't recommend it anymore.
Hopefully the developer will continue working on this tool, and it will be a top extension again.
Yeah give proof Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I don't get what the problem is with the below users, especially the one with the previous post removed. It works fine with me on normal firefox, normal computer. Never had my url bar been so clean and meaningfull. I don't get what IS the problem with previous users. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.2.1-signed.1-let-fixed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Most of the users facing issues are facing those issues because of one or the other addon affecting the urlbar and thus messing up with the functionality of this addon. It is nowhere possible to support compatibility with all the other addons out there, specially when other addons don't do anything to be compatible.

Seems my review was removed...
Had issues with breadcrumbs becoming unclickable, improperly spaced, etc... Terrible implementation of an almost decent idea...

I loved this extension before it stopped working. Now, it leaves my address bar empty. I'm running Firefox 38.1 with a darkly-colored theme (NASA Night Launch 0.6.20150510).This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.2.1-signed.1-let-fixed).
poor execution Rated 2 out of 5 stars
i have to agree with some of the other reviews that give Location Bar Enhancer a low score, i like the idea and was thrilled initially when i installed it but then i soon realized when you have long address with many subdomains or levels how bad this extension is, taking up the entire locationbar and especially troublesome when you have other location bar addons like a few of the many whois type flag addons installed where there was a messy overlapping of information. had to uninstall it,This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.2.1-signed.1-let-fixed).
