No Updates Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I've been waiting on an update for this Add-On for months. An update from the developer would be really nice. :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.9).

Oops! I upgraded to Firefox 3.6 and Total ReChrome is not compatible. That'll teach me to upgrade!

Looks great, but blue titlebar defocuses when I click on any java applet textbox. It shouldn't appear.

it works perfectly fine in firefox 3.6 just install the chromifox basic 1.1.3 (do not update 3.6.3 doesn't work)
btw if you want to keep using "incompatible" addons just install Add-on compatibility reporter. Its great and you can help the developer with saying if his addon still works with new versions of FF or not. and if not you can let them know what's wrong with it.

It is a great add-on, but why the update to support Firefox 3.6 is taking so long?

Nice extension but it would be better for firefox to display favicon in place of the favorite button at the left of the address bar...

Very nice. To use with Chromifox basic.

I like this glass effect most for the time being.

Others blanked my tab or fades the preceding lines. But this seems to satisfy me.

It will satisfy me more if I have the option to glass every where, not only the tab.

That's a great Add-on! But I missing to duplicate tabs in context menu. If there a Add-on, too?

I really want to see an option that allows you to remove the window text and icon so it gives a genuine chrome feel that simplifies the interface....

This is a great compliment to Chromifox basic, however it would REALLY give it a sleek designe if the window titlebar and icon were blank. The trick is to make the interface looks as simplistic as possible by taking away extra information.

captionbar Rated 3 out of 5 stars

how to make the top caption bar disappear as like in the second picture(fullscreen in vista)??

Frankly
I would keep BookmarksToolbar up the tab, because I use bookmarklets; I PREFER BookmarksToolbar above "TAB"

#####
Sinceramente
Gostaria de manter BookmarksToolbar
acima da tabulação; devido eu usar BOOKMARKLETS; PREFIRO BookmarksToolbar acima de "TAB"

Tabmixplus Don't work with this

Oops - update. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Apologies for my last review saying it wasn't working well - I was using the wrong version of Chromifox. With Chromifox Basic it works better.

However, the F11 full-screen problem is still there; all tabs disappear on pressing F11 again. Other than that, it's superb.

One nice extra would be to remove the FireFox icon and the window title completely, to match how Chrome looks. Some other addons do this, but they look a right mess as they remove the entire window border as well. Is it not possible to just hide the title and reduce the top of window space..?

Ok, but with problems. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It's a real shame this doesn't work properly, as it really does make FF like Chrome. Two problems in Vista:

1) When using F11 for full-screen view, the tab bar disappears permanently.

2) The tiny Close buttons on tabs are messed up and appear in a dark square.

Any chance of this being fixed so FF really CAN work like Chrome..? Thanks.

This is Not exactly Chrome View Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Main reason for Me to like look of Google Chrome is his compact view without main frame. This add-on do not solve this important issue. Many users with laptops will be disappointed - because for them any inch space on screen is valuable.
