Great extension but would like a few more customisation options Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I think this extension is great and have it activated all the time. However, I would like the option to keep the navigation bar present all the time, even when other options such as slim chrome or the mini bar are active. I'm having problems on the Google website with the hidden navigation bar popping up when I am trying to select text in Google's search bar, as well as other websites such as Facebook where navigation options are right at the top of the page.

You can do this already, disable the option "Also hide the navigation bar" in the add-on's preferences (right under "Enable Slim Chrome"). If that's not what you want or if it doesn't help you for some reason, please send me an e-mail or open an issue in the support page about it.

Recomendo usarem.Muito bom mesmo.

This is what made me switch from Safari and Chrome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I read a ton of .pdf's with Preview and have become accustomed to the fullscreen elegance. This enables my browser to have that same minimalist touch with the fullscreen view, address bar hidden, and compact slim chrome. Awesome bar and config options are bonus! Props to this dev!

Fantastic! – But I've got some ideas for the future. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The add-on is fantastic. I highly appreciate and recommend it. But I've got some feature suggestions for the future:

1. In general, I'd like to have more possibilities to easily switch between search engines using the keyboard.

2. In the "intelligent adress bar", if you type CTRL + RETURN (instead of only RETURN), it should open the search in a new tab.

3. As you hopefully know, you can switch between the search engines in the "intelligent adress bar" using CTRL + UP/DOWN. It would be very handy if SHIFT + RETURN would search the query just this single time using the just selected search engine, and then switch automatically back to the last search engine.

4. And then, CTRL + SHIFT + RETURN, should combine these two features.

I got here being interested in the author of "Tab Groups" and now I like two of his creations. Great job!

Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying my add-ons. :)

Now a must Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It already provided better management and ran way smoother than the default tab groups feature, with that being gone from firefox this add-on has become a must-have for sure. Keep spreading the word so it gets the love it deserves.

I migrated from Omnibar to your addon and found out that I miss some features.

1. It would be nice to see multiple search from location bar:
for example "g,w,e1 [your search query]" - open 3 tabs with 3 search - google, wikipedia, engine1 like it was in Omnibar.

2. I don't really know why Mozilla keeps search engines in 2 places. In addons->search tools and in bookmarks (Add a Keyword for this Search). "Add to Search Bar" addon eliminate problem with search engines in bookmarks but firefox is still lack of good managing tool where you can add keywords and rename your search engines. I think it should be integrated in one addon.

Anyway - very good addons, nice work.

1. This add-on doesn't actually handle searching from the location bar, that is all Firefox doing. All the add-on does is provide some tweaks to optimize the experience. So I think this falls outside of the scope of the add-on.

2. You can already add keywords for your search engines in the only location available, in Firefox's options - Search (or through the add-on's preferences by clicking the "Manage your search engines" button, which opens that same page). I have no idea of what you mean by "Add a Keyword for this Search", do you mean adding keywords for bookmarks? If yes, then I must say I absolutely disagree with you. I wouldn't want a long list of bookmarks to appear in my search engines list, just as I wouldn't want to see my search engines mixed up in my bookmarks either. They're completely separate things, even if they can provide similar functionalities at times.

Great! One feature suggestion Rated 4 out of 5 stars

After the death of Omnibar, I was devastated, but I feel like this is a very good replacement for it!

However, there's one more feature I'd like to see, which is Omnibar's @-syntax for search engines. @w {query} would query Wikipedia for the search, for example, and @you would query Youtube.

You can already do that in Firefox, which is one of the reasons why Omnibar is no longer necessary. Just go to Options - Search (or go to the add-on's preferences - Awesome Bar and click on "Manage your search engines") and define keywords for your search engines.

For more info about all you can do with the location bar:

Идеально! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm glad you like the add-on. :)

I don't fully understand your suggestion, what would you gain by adding active areas to the webpage to show the toolbars that you don't have by moving the mouse up? If anything, you would only be losing areas of the webpage that you can reach (imagine that corner or box covers a link you want to click on).

If that's not what you meant, please send me an e-mail or open an issue in the support page about it, in english if possible.

Distraction-free browsing Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension, combined with ‘Hide Tab Bar With One Tab’ and ‘Prevent Tab Overflow’ provides an excellent distract-free browsing environment where the web content is at the centre of attention. Gone with the seemingly ever-growing and nameless buttons that populate the address bar.

With the advent of overcrowded user interfaces, this extension provides functionality to hide portions of the Firefox chrome that you’re not using all the time. By moving your mouse above the tab bar you can show the address bar again when you need it.

Since you are so awesome to always reply quickly here.. <3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm not sure where to leave this request. with you, or the author of "glass my fox" ..
Got the simple wish to have an option for less transparency when Slim Crome is active. on webpages with a colorful, textful header it's killing my eyes to try to see any toolbar symbols. XD
I have a hunch i have to poke the glass my foxx author about this tho? xD

Either way .. greaaaaaaat addon, love.. thanks a lot for all :)

First of all, you're very welcome, I'm glad you like it. :)

I seem to remember Aris, the developer of Glass My Fox, actually added some tweaks specifically to glass up Slim Chrome some time ago (although I could be mistaken, so don't take my word for it!). Perhaps there's room for improvement though, I'll also take a look to see if GMF is doing anything at all. BTW it's better if you open an issue in the support thread or send me an e-mail about this, so that we can better communicate about it, and so we can include Aris too.
