Needs the ability to grenade only the selected tabs Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Seems good except it needs the ability to grenade only the selected tabs.

Great tool - just needs a search option Rated 4 out of 5 stars

whenever I close my browser for any length of time,
the tab grenade page comes back blank...

I usually have 5 or 6 browser windows open at any
given time...

I've not checked this to be certain but, I believe that,
if I hit tab grenade again, once I open the browser
windows, every single tab I've had open since I began
using tab grenade shows up....

I saw a post about tab grenade not working in the latest
version of FF...

if you have a 64 bit OS, try WaterFox (FF 64 bit browser)
WaterFox and Tab Grenade work perfectly together

Tab Grenade is a great solution to the bazillion open
tabs I usually have...

I'd request one additional tool/option for Tab Grenade...

Please add a search feature... I hunt through all of the
links and end up giving up and opening a new tab...

It´s just a web page, search with Cmd-F

Hi there, thanks for your review!

About the search, what I do is just use the normal browser find. Does that solve the problem for you?

Cheers.

Not Trustworthy - Months of Bookmarks Lost - Same As Other People - Your "Fix" Does Not Work. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I am having the same problem. I have lost months of bookmarks. This is not good. I tried your fix (see below) - It does not work - This is an unstable, unreliable, untrustworthy add-on. I have Firefox version 35.0.1. and Tab Grenade 0.8.5

by bon on October 20, 2014 · permalink · translate

This add-on worked great until I navigated back to the tab grenade tab today and it was completely blank. There were hundreds of tabs in there that I'd been storing because I was trusting the add-on to do what it said - keep them intact for me. Losing my tabs defeats the entire purpose of this add-on, and I can't recommend trusting it now.

Your tabs are not lost

by Sergi Mansilla (Developer) on October 21, 2014 · permalink · translate

There is a known bug in which in some situations the tabgrenade page is blank after browser startup. Your tabs are not lost. If you click on tabgrenade again, your bookmarks will be back.

by Niki on June 22, 2014 · permalink · translate

If you have collapsed the tabs once and click the button to collapse again it ends up a blank tab with nothing. Back page doesn't work. I tried finding out how to solve that, and couldn't. The github page says don't push the button again when already functioning, but it doesn't say what to do if we hit it by accident.
I lost nearly 15 tabs.
It was handy, but it wasn't worth losing my info, so I removed it promptly.

Solved in 0.8.4, and you never lose data.

by Sergi Mansilla (Developer) on June 22, 2014 · permalink · translate

This addon never loses data, your info would have been there if you close the tab and you hit tab grenade again. The problem is only visual and it should be solved in 0.8.4.

It's a really great addon, and I love the idea of throwing a grenade at all those open tabs! But it has one big feature missing, which makes it almost useless to me: it doesn't sync your old tabs page on your Firefox account. Add this feature and it's my favorite addon (alongside uBlock)!

Tab pages should be saved and double-backup-ed in your Firefox sync account, so you never lose them

Exporting bookmarks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love it. However, I had to reinstall FF and lost all my grenade bookmarks. Is there any way to export the saved links?

Will use tab grande none the less.

Great idea! Could be handy, though, BUT it would be more useful if it allows us to select which tabs to use Grenade on instead of implementing it on all tabs by default.

I like the add-on but the icon is missing.

Wonderful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this practically every day. Fantastic and convenient add-on for those of us who are ADHD Internet users with a bazillion tabs open all the time.

Thanks again, not everyone is unappreciative for this handy little gem. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Complaints and mehs, but I just have to counter with another round of props to the dev. This thing has helped me bring sanity to frequently overwhelming windows more times than I can count. There are, as the last guy was b!*#%'ing about, a couple bugs in Palemoon 25+...

One is the grenade coming up empty, when returning to the browser, but as you stated, that's a really easy fix (just open at least one tab, even an empty one, and grenade it, again).

The other is a little more of a pain, which is the tab grenade icon disappearing. Simply reinstalling the add-on (without removing it) always brings it back and without losing my Grenade page of links. Plus, I've found that version 0.8.2 works in Palemoon a lot better (generally, it's really stable, until other updates throw it and other add-ons outa wack). It'd be so sweet, if you could add a fix within the tab grenade add-on options, so we could just pop in there and get the icon back (course, no clue how much of a pain it'd be to get the new Grenade backwards compatible with Fox 24.9). There's no extension like yours that's compatible with Palemoon or older Foxes, before they changed everything so drastically (OneTab is much worse than yours, besides, they copied your idea, anyway... and verbatim).

Palemoon users, so far, only make up a small percentage of surfers, but their numbers are growing fast (especially after Mozilla made so many questionable decisions over the past few design revamps). Either way, thanks for the script, dude... it's been a big help keeping tons of temporary tabs tidy and out of memory, during data-mining or research sessions. Koodos!

Nothing special - closes all tabs and creates a list Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Will close all tabs and create a page from where you can re-open them. No history or form data maintained. Opened tabs will not be removed from the list.

I'd rather recommend Read-it-later, bootstack, or add-ons to bookmark all tabs.

MAKE THE ICON SMALLER Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This works great. A good start. I wish there more features and settings and I wish the icon was smaller so it doesn't add unnecessary space on my toolbar.

Love it - Have one suggestion Rated 4 out of 5 stars

this is a really helpful tool, though I wish I didn't have to 'pull the pin' as it were, rather i would prefer a way to open the grenade page without blowing the others away (i.e. potentially Shift + Click the grenade to open the grenade tab ONLY). four stars now fifth one when a change like this is implemented.

edit: One more thing if it can ignore new tabs or other tab grenade tabs( not sure if this *actually happens) or user specified tabs

Very nice. No errors or probs yet Rated 4 out of 5 stars

As Developer says - a work in progress. Be nice if history links go away when clicking them, like Onetab.

WARNING!!! This add-on will destroy all your tabs' history! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This add-on is aptly named. It will destroy all your tabs' history. I absolutely can't believe it. I tried this add-on on one page of many I have open, with many tabs in the page and, when I 'restored' all the tabs, only the top page of each tab remained and all the history of every tab was gone! This is no different from bookmarking all tabs. Also, it loads every tab, taking maybe 5 minutes before I can access any tab. I have Suspend Tab set not to load a tab until I visit it but this add-on overrode it. This is horrible. I will never get those tabs' history back. Test it on a small window first if you test it at all. You've been warned.
