Works OK Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Doesn't seem to freeze on G+ tab any more, but now freezes on LastPass if vault is open. Still an improvement since I pretty much always have G+ open and seldom need to open LastPass vault. This add-on has been abandoned, so hopefully someone a lot smarter than me will pick up the project and keep improving it. Google is obviously not motivated to get G+ working seamlessly in Firefox.

FF29 broke many close buttons Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I selected "Many, on all tabs" for the "Close button:" option.
On FF29, only the current tab shows the "x" symbol (turns red when moused over).

Finally, an addon that has the essential feature of "Open new blank tab next to current"; working in Firefox 27.

Found a bug Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Focus on left tab when closing active tab doesn't work when using multiple tab groups.

Other than that it's almost perfect with clever and intuitive logic. This is one of my top 5 essential addons and one of the few that I can't understand why Firefox doesn't have these features natively.

This is perfect. Hope one day it will support my SeaMonkey.

On FF 15.0.2 this add-on not focus on Left tab when current one is closed!

Worked great until FF15. Now it will not focus on Left tab when current one is closed. Come on FF devs, so basic put it in by default.

pretty nice Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works nicely. I use the setting "Position new tabs in front of current tab" so that I can Ctrl+T and it will make the new tab right in front of the current one. This is contrasted with the usual make-the-new-tab-at-the-end which is annoying when you have many tabs.
For some reason the "Focus left tab when closing current" would focus 7 tabs to the right. Maybe I wasn't doing it right or something. I didn't want that feature anyway so I disabled it.

Nice for the new tab in front of current feature.

The firefox open tab relative battle continues Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is the latest solution to this never ending bloody battle with !#$! firefox and its brain dead handling of opening new tabs.

It works almost right, and usually do, but it sometimes fails focusing right tab after closing one, and in that case usually focusing on the parent related tab, what is very annoying. I'm using Tabs Open Relative Modified now.

Great! It does do just what I want: to open new tabs right to current.
Круто! Делает как раз то, что мне нужно: открывает новые вкладки справа от текущей.

Not what I wanted Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The option "Position new tabs to the right of the current tab" sounds like if I turned it off it would place new tabs to the LEFT by default (which is the feature I'm looking for) but it didn't. It sounds kind of misleading a bit though I knew this addon wouldn't be able to do that.

unread tabs Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Please add option to colorize the unread tabs, like it is in tab mis plus. Thats the only option im missing

Needed a replacement for Tabs Open Relative in order to force all tabs to open next to the current tab. Other tab extensions with this feature were overkill, bloated with a bunch of options I didn't need. This extensions is perfectly small.

I was tired of having new tabs open next to the farthest right tab. Always dragging new tabs back to where I needed them got old, fast. I wanted something to make new tabs open to the immediate right of the current tab. Tab Control does that - no more, no less. Tried another add-on for this purpose, but that add-on had way too many bells and whistles - things I didn't want. This is perfect. Thank you!

Great extension. Focus left and always open to right of current tab (not far right) are soooooo useful. Firefox, build these in as options!

I am on Mac and thanks to this add-on, when I hit "cmd+t", a new tab opens right after the current tab: so much more useful than to have the new tab opening at the far right end!! Thanks.

Was having trouble with max width on my own. I see now that it's a %. 1000=100%

I'm so glad there's an extension that gives users the option of opening new tabs (as in, File>New Tab) relative to the current tab. Thank you!

Breaks Minefield 4 b7 - causes blank pages when switching tabs and/or incorrect tab content (e.g. tab text and url say one thing but show the contents of a completely different tab elsewhere). Otherwise great extension, wish I could use it with Firefox 4.
