Great addon, but support is lacking.
This addon unacceptably affects (visually) options window of other addons. Also, disable/uninstall doesn't clean after itself, which requires browser restart (I'm surprised it passed Mozilla's review)
I've already sent two emails to the developer, in second email I even included fixed version of files, but no response received.

This addon deserves 5 stars, but I'm giving it only 1 start as an attempt to get some attention from developers. Will change it to 5 as soon as hear anything from them.

Noticed a bug Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I noticed recently that it shows the previous sites favicons as a new page is loading,
I've temporarily switched back to Favicon Restorer 1.4 and will wait until you fix this.
Thanks for the add-on.

Hello, my name is Kevin, (imkira3) and I am a bit of a perfectionist. I don't like having any addons on my browser that are buggy, however I like alot of addons. Your add-on "Site Favicons in Url Bar" is a fantastic addon, really really useful, and my browser simply cannot do without it. I noticed two bugs in your most recent 8.1 version, and have fixed them myself for my personal use. In case you wish to include these bug fixes in your next update for everyone else who uses this addon, I thought I would post here about it. In defaults.css in the styles folder, I removed this line: " background-color: #fff !important;" as it caused an issue in the addon bar when using a different skin, but only on addons.mozilla.org for some really odd reason. In startup.css in the styles folder I altered line " margin: 0 -10px 0 0 !important;" to " margin: 0 -10px 0 4px !important;" so that the addon icon that pops up after installing a new addon is properly spaced. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope you find the time to include this in your next realease for other users :) great addon btw, major props.

Nice and useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have only one request:
Is it possible to add option for automatic favicon choosing for Non-Iconized Tab from predefined set of favicons?
The number of Non-Iconized sites grows and sometimes almost all tabs become Non-Iconized.
In such case is highly desired to "connect" different favicons to such sites.
The algorythm can be very simple.
Let assume we have K alternatives for favicons.
We can get the sum of all characters of site host, let say, S and S by module K (S % K) will give us one of K favicons and it will be connected to this site.
Thank you

Great addon!
BUT when I hide "https://", the URL copies like "http://", that isn't good...

Nice one
Would be great to have some more options in the future of this add-on like changing a globe icon and, maybe, interchanging the positions of globe and favicon

FF=17esr Finally Efficiency @ it's BEST! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The Option in side the MORE info is GREAT and the Free Designer buttons for the Add-ons.

BUT! You should place an [APPLY] Button function so the FireFox doesn’t keep Reloading, when I change the Color Values. It crashes the Script most of the times.

Awesome! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There is nothing to say, it's just perfect.

Really glad I found this! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hard to believe that the Mozilla people chose this route instead of the obvious. I understand that they prefer a confirmation of an https site but one look at this add-on and you'll see how it should have been implemented. Just make this part of the next Firefox iteration! Finding this add-on, for some reason, isn't easy - an add-on search didn't work for me. But once I found it I loved it. Everything is back the way it was before! Nicely customizable! Nice work!

Great! Plus a suggestion Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I installed v. 6.7. So far so good. It allowed me to drop a few extensions and get what I want: favicons and colours for secure sites.

I also notice on your screenshot that you have a dark-coloured URL bar for secure sites. Is it a Unix-only feature? I don't see it with Windows 7.

In the same vein, there is one idea I really like: a light yellow address bar for secure sites. Is this a possibility for a future version?

Great! Plus a suggestion

It's a local css theme that I use for the urlbar security levels. If you wish to email me with your system and Fx version, I will be happy to share. I am on Windows 7 Fx Aurora 17.0a2

Fantastic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have no idea why Mozilla is "forcing" these "improvements" upon us, but thank goodness this add-on corrects one of them. Heck, the icon/address display is even more useful than before. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks. Excellently. Functions which ruthlessly cleaned returned

Работает превосходно. Функции, которые безжалостно убрали вернулись. Понять логику разработчиков вообще невозможно... зачем было выпиливать фавиконки непонятно. Спасибо есть такое дополнение

Very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

All you need to custom the site identity in the Urlbar.

Especially, allows to have again the site favicon in the Urlbar and to remove the globe, after upgrade to Firefox 14 (to set "Hide Globe Icon" in options).

[Site Favicon in Urlbar 5.2] To note that if you set "Enable Identity Backgrounds" and let the default value of "Identity Labels Text Color" to #FFFFFF, and after that you disable the extension, you will have the identity label displayed in white on white! To avoid that, you have to choose an "Identity Labels Text Color" compatible with chosen "Identity Backgrounds" colors and also with the white Firefox default background color.

Edited padlock icon 14 x 18 pixels and set label text color to default when addon is disabled. Version 5,4

Much thanks for this great Add-on, i do not support Mozillas decision to remove the Favicons from Urlbar and you bring it back with your Add-on.
So that i have the chance to contribute i have send per Mail the german translation.
Much thanks again!

Make firefox URL bar simple & stunning.
But I found the cpu usage increase significantly to >30% (<5% if disable this addon). Hope it become CPU friendly in future.

Does what it says, and does it well. Fixes another annoying change by Mozilla, and then some. Thanks.
