Was good then they thought to add Malware ? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Firebug was throwing some console errors that tipped me off that this crap addon was trying to inject ads onto the page (ads.panoramtech.net). Would not recommend, will never use anything from developer again.

Are you kidding me?? Unbelievable!! It has taken a lot of time and effort to track this malware bug down. The ads.panoramtech malware that now comes with what was a very useful plugin has rendered this plugin obsolete and I won't use anything from this developer again. You have wasted so much of my time trying to track this panoramtech malware bug down and get rid of it. Un-freaking believable...

The panoramtech component was added slyly, without any notification. I have no idea how long I've been running this with it included. Uninstalling!

Unsafe situation with Firefox add-ons Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This add-on is useful to prove that users are left to themselves with unsafe add-ons. Labelled years ago as "preliminarily reviewed" this add-ons is certified as 'have been checked by our editors to make sure they don't have security problems' Mozilla editors are wrong, this add-on has various security problems. As many times mentioned below, Show IP now includes another embedded spyware.

As others have mentioned, Show IP now includes panoramatech.net tracking spyware. DO NOT INSTALL IT!!! I also reported the extension, if you had the same problem, report it too. I don't understand why it was not removed from the add-ons

As others have mentioned, Show IP now includes an ebmedded ad/tracker which I only noticed thanks to a Cross-Origin error reported by Firebug.

Confirming malware report by Flavio Torres. This addon is deliberately distributing advertising malware. Avoid at all costs.

Bad "Enhancement" Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Please do NOT implement changes as in 2.5 (Addonbar). Showip disappeared from Browser and I spent 2 Hours to find out just to go back to 2.4!

V2.5 & The Addon Bar Incompatible Rated 1 out of 5 stars

V2.4 get FIVE STARS - 2.5 Gets ONE. I use The Addon Bar since mozilla STUPIDLY removed such from V30. ShowIP 2.4 works great with it. Couldn't get 2.5 to work with it => The Addon Bar STAYS, V2.5 ShowIP GOES!

will be fixed

Hi, we added this as extra feature and will be optional in next update

ShowIP 2.5 Button Cannot Be Customized Rated 1 out of 5 stars

ShowIP 2.5 no longer hides the Firefox 'Customize' righthand panel. However, since it is placed on yet another new toolbar, from which it cannot be moved by 'Customize' (the toolbar is not shown in that mode), it just wastes space.

I don't need any more toolbars. I already have enough. They are in use and they already have space for a ShowIP button.

Author: please don't create any new toolbar, statusbar or any other bar for your extension. Please just create your button, put it on the 'Customize Palette' and let _us_ use 'Customize' to drag and drop it on whatever existing toolbar we choose.

I find version 2.5 of this extension utterly unusable on FF30.0 and FF31.0
