Great but Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Embedded Flash elements don't show (such as YouTube videos). Fix that and it'd be perfect! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.4.3).
Re: Great but
Unfortunately, this cannot be solved by me, as my extension depends on the thumbnail generation functionality that provided by Firefox... Hopefully, they'll fix that at some point.
Great add-on, but there is a BUG Rated 4 out of 5 stars
If you open showcase to 'showcase all windows' and then click on a thumbnail of a tab which is NOT in the window where showcase is open, then it won't work. This is very annoying seeing as the main reason I wanted to use this was to be able to easy see and jump around tabs and screens which are open in multiple windows of firefoxThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.4.3).
Re: Great add-on, but there is a BUG
What you described happens in some Linux distributions, and if you use the official Firefox for Linux binaries, it will work properly. Unfortunately, I don't have control on how things are handled by the different distributions, and I've no way to correct this behavior in my code.
Very nice! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
As I write this I have about 180 tabs open. I jump around a lot in my interest from day to day. I will often see something that I want to come back to later so I leave it open in a tab. This plugin gives me a great way to filter my tabs, and get a preview of the matches. Then I can find that needle in a hay stack I was looking for. One thing I would like to see is a way to bookmark the matches. I am a little lazy about bookmarking I admit. It would be nice to be able to put a check next to the previews that I want to bookmark. Other than that this plugin is sweet. Thanks for the work you've done on this. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.4.3).
Re: Very nice!
That possibility is already there!! Just select multiple thumbnails (you can select all the visible ones by double clicking in an empty area, or using the Ctrl+A shortcut), right click on the selection, and choose "Bookmark Selected Tabs". It will place the bookmarks inside a "bookmark folder".
Grand! Excellent Add-On, Highly Recommended Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have a third monitor that connects via USB - ergo, it is to slow for most purposes. Thus, I use it for applications that are not so interactive and dependent upon fast refresh. As it turns out, Showcase is absolutely perfect to sit on that monitor; it allows me to have a wonderful list of all opened tabs of all windows. I always have two windows opened - one for general usage (like my personal and work MediaWiki wikis where I keep client notes and the like) and the other for website development (as that is my occupation as a small business owner for marketing and advertising - i.e. graphic and website design, photography, video production and the like). I always have a huge number of tabs opened on both windows and have always had problems keeping them organized until I found Showcase. Showcase is ALWAYS opened on my third monitor and is the PERFECT addition to my workflow.
As my 2 year old daughter says for "Good Job!": "Do Dah!" Do Dah, indeed, for Showcase!
Keep up the fabulous work on this Add-On! It is currently in the top 5 of my most used and favorite Add-Ons!
To Firefox Troy... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
To Firefox Troy if you click the list all tabs button the showcase will pop up. Which is good since I dont like the original feature of drop-down list. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.4.1).
This is Great Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I have been using this extension since it came out, and have had very little trouble with it. This is a great add-on and a must have for Firefox.
By supplying the user with options to see all tabs in a single tab, window, or even sidebar (not to mention all the other features),
this add-on makes Firefox surpass IE7 even more.
Takes FF usability up to par with IE7 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Showing thumbnails of opened tabs is not possible in the basic Firefox installation. But IE7 has it. Well, thanks to FF Showcase I can now have it in FF as well. It's more or less flawless and it's a solid MUST-HAVE on every Firefox installation. The only (minor) problem is that sometimes some special content isn't rendered by Showcase. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.4).
#1 of my Top Three! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using showcase for over five months. Firefox+Showcase skunks IE7. I combined it with easyGestures and Tab Mix Plus, and I now have a browser that works exactly like I want it to!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3.2).
DOUBLE "WOW!" Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of the best add-on features for Firefox.
Simply the best tab organizer/viewer around... a finely tuned & professionally crafted program with a wealth of options and capabilities, all the while being user-friendly, lightweight(fast), and visually pleasing.
here are some quiet, yet GROUND-BREAKING features:
-puts all tab thumbnail previews from all windows in ONE sidebar!
-word find of all opened window & tab pages, simultaneously! (my humble recommendation: create Hotkey for a "Quick Search Box" similar to the one offered by Google Desktop- e.g. hit "Shift" twice to reveal word search box)
Great attention to all details... and it certainly shows!
Genius! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Simple, Brilliant, Useful - A wonderful F*** You to old school browsing. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3.1).

Great Extension Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Been using this extension for quite a long time and love it. Recently had a valid reason for using this extension - injured my mouse hand and the gestures made it easier to perform several actions without needing to aggravate the injury.
Only problem I've run into (and this is recent) is gestures not being recognized when I have the mouse trail enabled. The gestures took several seconds to 'register' and ended up timing out.
EXCELLENT ADDITION Rated 5 out of 5 stars
this is superb! easy to use. manual gives very good, easy instructions; especially with the search utility. THANK YOU!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3).

Thank you for this excellent extension! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using Showcase for over a month. The ability to view tabs as thumbnails is absolutely priceless, but Showcase's numerous customization features are enormous bonuses.
I love being able to choose the size of my thumbnails and being able to zoom in on one in particular. The ability to view the thumbs in a tab, a floating window, or the sidebar is awesome, allowing users to toggle between viewing modes according to preference.
Can't say enough, so THANK YOU! (Sorry about my unwieldy comment, but we cannot add page breaks).
live previews would be awesome! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
i like this program. one this that would make it even BETTER would be when you hover over a tab in the tab bar, if it could show that tab\'s image info, kind of similar to how vista\'s live preview works on the taskbarThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.2.3).
Wonderful Extension Everyone Should Have! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
My favourite features with this Extension are the text searching for the body text of ANY of your tabs. Also, the Alt+Scroll features to scroll through your thumbnails are a true must-have!
Great for web development, as you can easily see from a distance your new page, and your old page.
It rocks! Better than most. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I used Tab Sidebar previously and it sorta slowed my system down when dealing with dozens of tabs, yours doesn't have this problem.
Keep up the good work!
Robust, fast, and surprsingly handy Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've only been using Firefox Showcase for a few days now, but I have been thoroughly impressed with its execution, interface, and operation.
The depth and detail of customization available in the Options menu is unusual for a FireFox extension. It's clear from using Showcase, and reviewing its lengthy development history, that the author has devoted a lot of TLC and attention to detail to bring it to its present advanced state.
I often have a dozen tabs open at a time, doing research and collecting news stories. It's great to be able to click the little Showcase arrow at the right end of the tab bar and instantly get the big picture, with every tab faithfully represented in clickable miniature in a thoroughly customizable tab or window, as you like.
Running Firefox 184.108.40.206 in Windows Vista, FF Showcase has been flawless so far. Anyone who appreciates well-executed software or runs more than half a dozen tabs or windows at a time should check it out!
