Your position on the first issue is not logical. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
To the developer White Alice0775,
You surely must have good reasons not to want to fully do what I described in the first issue (see it below) but when you say "First issue: This is intentional.", it is simply not logical at all not to want to do what I have described in the first issue.
That is you really should allow both "Show Parent Folder" and "Go to Parent" to work, no matter if I use Bookmarks or History at the right of the sidebar where it says: Search in: Bookmarks History.
That would be the most logical behavior. That you do not want to do it probably means that you have good reasons not to want to do it (maybe you have problems implementing it when History is selected?).
---First issue. IT IS A BIG ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE SOLVED.
--When I do History, Show All Bookmarks.
If I do a search for a bookmark typing a keyword in the field at the top right. It then shows results BUT the Parent folder column is blank when History is selected.
Furthermore, again when History is selected, I could right-click on any of the results produced by my search BUT the Go to Parent option does not appear.
Basically both "Show Parent Folder" and "Go to Parent" do NOT work when the History is selected (at the right of the sidebar where it says: Search in: Bookmarks History).
--On the other hand, if I press Bookmarks (at the right of the sidebar where it says: Search in: Bookmarks History), then in such a case both "Show Parent Folder" and "Go to Parent" work fine.
Bug 469421 may help.
