The Send to Kindle for Firefox is useful for opening the setting page Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I like Firefox but...,This plug-in had worked ever. Actually I had been used this with Firefox, till about two years ago. But now it dosen't work for completely. I noticed it today. You can use this for "only setting" of "Send to Kindle". Now I am using "Send to Kindle" which is installed to Chrome.

disgrace to programers Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This is so bad that it shouldn't have been released. Why does it stall for so long? Why does it need you to log in every time? Why doesn't it just do it in the background? Why can't you go back to the original page afterwards?

Works and then it doesn't work. I am doubting its credibility

Pile of crap. It doesn't even work, I've tried on several different systems, OS's, VM's ... why does this even exist?

May be used Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Yes it does what it should do, but it redirects to amazon's site. Even if you've chosen "send to kindle" without preview.
Check the Clearly addon, it opens an overlay to preview and doesn't redirect anywhere. To author: please add this feature. Or notice user about redirect, coz he may have an incomplete comment on that page for example.

It's buggy at the moment: the menu pops up at opposite side of the screen from the button, and there's no option to disable their poor choice of keyboard shortcuts.

For sending articles to the Kindle, I recommend using the Readability extension as your primary tool, and keep the bookmarklets provided by fivefilters.org and klip.me as backups for when articles fail to convert properly.

Why can't Amazon just provide bookmarklets like everyone else, for times like these, when their half-baked extension hasn't been fixed in months.

Neat idea, but poor execution. Particularly, the 'Send to Kindle' shortcut is fixed at 'Shift-K' (not even using Control or Alt keys) and there's no option at all to customize it? Who the hell designs software like this in 2013? Conflicts with any number of things including Reddit Enhancement Suite shortcuts.

Good but misses an option Rated 4 out of 5 stars

When I "Send to Kindle", there should be an option to not display the preview after sending. It defeats the purpose of being non intrusive! If I wanted to see the preview, I'd just click "Preview and Send", wouldn't I?

Great Addon. Very useful if you have a kindle device.
I hope there is an popup which will ask me which device I want to send the article everytime I click the addon button.

And things are there... where support FF 22.0?

Works on FF21 in a clean profile Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I guess it must be an add-on or setting that caused it not to work for me initially. Interface is a little clunky but it gets the job done.

Amazon recently started Blocking Whispernet Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Amazon recently started blocking Whispernet and this browser plugin does not work! (I use Seamonkey and not Firefox. Also, this plugin is going to require an older version, since they may not be able to keep up with newer browser versions.)

I also use Linux so the other "Send to device" options will not work.

Ditto. Amazon.com can do much better than this.

Doesn't work for me! When I try to preview or send a web article, it pops up with "We're sorry..." message.

Awful Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Amazon, you can do better. Slow, crashes my browser quite often, confirmation or failure notification disappears almost immediately, even if you're not looking at the tab anymore, which you won't be because it's so slow. Thirdparty alternatives are much better.

Not Working FF 18 or later (maybe even earlier) Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Would be great if this worked. Just sits there "Send Content". Used to work back last year.

Same as before user. It spins the circle but never sends any document. It worked briefly for a few days, had to remove it then reinstalled it and it now doesn't work anymore.

A shame. Because while it worked it was just wonderful. Probably a bug? I am using the firefox as prior user 19.0.2

Not working on Firefox 19.0.2 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Preview shows that page is formatted properly; clicking Send button triggers Amazon login; then the Send to Kindle page shows a circling icon in the centre and hangs indefinitely.

The behaviour is not changed at all on disabling NoScript & Adblock Plus.

What should I try next?

I asked Kindle Customer Support and they instructed me to run Firefox in Windows XP SP2 (not even SP3) compatibility mode. You must be joking. Uninstalled.

FF Older versions no longer supported :( Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice to see this working. But this ain't work with ESR editions due to storage engine bugs (pages keep converting automatically though I dint do anything or some times pages stuck where I've to select the Kindle) and only works better with FF 17 and above and not with FF 10 as mentioned in the installation page.
