this will be perfect!
Give me more! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Works pretty much fine for youtube, though the button disappears on youtube when you select another tube on the right. You'd have to refresh the page then again to see it re-appear. (/update, this is fixed!)
Furthermore, generalize this plugin to Vimeo and others! That would be awesome.
html 5 now works! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great job, thank you! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).
This issue should be fixed in v2.3.0, thanks for the feedback.
work just fine Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Despite gammy's comment, this addon is working just as is should on firefox 37 / ubuntu, connecting to latest kodi running on raspbmc.
It's however a shame that there is no option to disable youtube CSS overlay as it is quite intrusive imho.
Doesn't seem to work and doesn't do what it says it does Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Well, perhaps I'm doing something wrong, considering so many people seem to enjoy the addon. I'm on Firefox 36.0.1 running on Linux, describing v2.2.0 version of this addon. Firstly I did have to restart firefox for the "Send to XBMC" CSS to be added to Youtube. Secondly, no new item appeared in the right-click context menu as the description says. Thirdly, it states that port 80 is the default port, when it's port 9090. Fourthly, when it fails to connect, it couldn't be less informative about the error. Furthermore, even when it appears to be set up correctly, showing a "Sending to Kodi" (odd message, why not say "Sending to <the name set in the configuration>", it does not actually even attempt to connect to the media center. Why? No idea.
As an FYI for the devs, the "XBMC Remote Control" addon works just fine, so it would appear that my Kodi setup is configured correctly.
An issue with the Send to Kodi button not always appearing on YouTube has been solved in v2.3. The default port can vary per platform, on Windows its 80 while on Linux it could be 8080. Since the connection is using a high level API, there isn't much more information available when it fails to connect. If the addon gives a network error, try connecting on IP instead of hostname. If you have more problems, have a look at https://github.com/dirkjanm/firefox-send-to-xbmc/issues/ if your issue is there and if not feel free to open a new issue.

Not work in firefox 36.0.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
If you have a specific issue with the plugin, please open an issue at https://github.com/dirkjanm/firefox-send-to-xbmc/issues
It will have to be a bit more specific than "not work" though, without a problem description there is no way to solve the issue.
Nice! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This addon is very easy to use and useful. I mainly use to to send youtube videos to my kodi htpc. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because I often have to refresh the youtube page to see the "send to" button. Would be great if you could fix this. Is it also possible to add soundcloud support? Anyway, thanks for a great addon! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed).

brilliant Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is well worth installing, only thing it could do with is the ability to send any url to xbmc.
Thanks and keep up the good work
great addon, missing a feature in 2.+ Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I've been using this since i switched over to xbmc a few months ago and love it, its simple in the best way that it only does what it needs to, but with the latest update multiple server support was added which is great but it would be nice if you could disable the submenus if you only have one server. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).

Following a response from the developers (thanks, guys), Send to XBMC now works well, I really like it.It does what it says it will. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1-signed).
Hi, thanks for your feedback. The description for the addon was referring to version 2.1, which is still under review. For now you should be able to configure the options in the addon manager (click on "more" next to the addon name). If you keep having problems please open an issue on the GitHub page.
Great Rated 4 out of 5 stars
But it could really do with an option to Queue to XBMC as well. The play function works great, but the ability to queue multiple videos (can be done on Chrome XBMC extensions) would be fantastic. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1-signed). I've been using this to send videos to my Raspberry Pi (running RaspBMC) for ages now, and it always works great. Version 1.2's new notifications make it even nicer. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1-signed).

This is an awesome add-on. There nothing like the flexibility of searching on your laptop and then a one touch tool to send it over to your Media Center.
Thank you for writing this plugin.
Very useful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I like browsing Youtube on my laptop. I sit in front of the TV whilst browsing. This lets me send the video right to the TV (via XBMC) and continue browsing around Youtube. Very nice! Thank you for writing an awesome add-on!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199.1-signed).

Excellent add-on that works perfectly with XBMC!
If you are having problems, just make sure you have your XBMC service setup to allow control under the System, Settings, Services; set the port, username and password to something you know.
