Good add on! Question... Google.com cookies get self destructed however I have them blocked with No Scrip and stay away from their search engines and avoid them as much as possible.

Why is this always green on Youtube?!

More effective than allowing only session cookies Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Why should you have to restart FF to eliminate unwanted cookies? This should be a standard feature of FF.

Great program, except it's been glitchy for the past couple weeks - clearing out cookies I wanted to keep, refusing to temporarily suspend operations, and getting websites confused. (The last one I found out when I moused over the icon to confirm the status of one of these websites that it kept clearing the cookies of, and it identified it as a different website.)
It started malfunctioning after a browser update, so I'm thinking that might be the problem.
Up to two weeks ago this add on was great, though, so once the bugs get fixed I'd say it's a very good add on to get.

Buggy as hell in FF nightly Rated 2 out of 5 stars

In Firefox nightly v41, the non-working option to temporary suspend operation, and the non respected grace period constantly breaks my online buying when redirecting to my banking site and it needs to rely on store site cookies, this addon immediately deletes the intermediate sites in the buying chain, resulting in broken bargains, and leaving the user with questions whether a bargain did succeed or not.

option "destroy cookie after leaving the website" Rated 4 out of 5 stars

it would be nice to have an option "destroy cookie after leaving the website", most of my cookies are needed only for one website in particular, so i think it could be a great improvement to do this.

Doesn't work after returning from suspend/hibernate

One of my essential add-ons, can't live without it.
Nice work, thanks.

Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I wouldn't live without it. To turn off the balloon notifications, uncheck it in OPTIONS which is found in EXTENSIONS.

Das is gut.

Constant Balloon Pop-Ups Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The add-on constantly opens balloon pop-ups to show the cookies that were blocked and even opens a balloon pop-up to say that it stopped previously blocked cookies. I tried it for about a week but it was driving me crazy so I uninstalled it.

Option "accept until tab closed" missing? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great plugin but I'm confused how to use it: I have configured Firefox to ask me every time a new cookie is created. What option to choose to accept a cookie only until the tab is closed?

SDC as an Add-On .... GUH-REAT .... (With apologies to Frosted-Flakes' 'Tony the Tiger') Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am very impressed ... although a little sad that I've been doing the manual equivalent for such a long time!

For those starting out, if you've got an "Exception List" created in Firefox already (with default policy to deny cookie storage), SDC will honor these settings ... and these sites will be incorporated into your SDC whitelist upon installation. It's likely that the 'list' is the same animal for all I know.

I've noticed when I start the browser (FF v35) it takes about 7 seconds per wall-clock to delete the cookies that were present the last time FF normally ended. Even with the grace-period set to 1 and 0. Is there some sort of setting that would ensure all but white-listed cookies are deleted during the normal FF-shutdown actions? Howz'about for cached objects?

Thanks for the great add-on!!!!

Fabulous! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I absolutely love this add-on! Works perfectly on my Android Firefox browser, and compliments Ghostery really well. I can't believe everyone is not using SDC. Big thanks to the developer.

Neat! If only it can detect and control third-party cookies.
