Neat, I got used to Sublime Text Ctrl+P and wanted something similar on ff and this addon is perfect for it

Does what it says Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Yep, this does exactly what it says, and works fine for me.
But...
1. Having it in the AddOn bar is a bit annoying (I don't actually have mine shown).
2. It can't be moved from there (at least my attempts have failed)
3. As others have said, integration into the URL/Search/AwesomeBar would be amazing!

It's alright but it always pulls up the wrong tab. It would be better if it displayed a list of possible tabs so you can select the one you want.

Works well to search tab by URL or title. (This should probably be added to the add-on summary and not only the description.)

Solid Add on - Please add option to change shortcut Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does exactly as advertised, but needs option to change keyboard shortcut.

What a pity. It only searches the tab titles. It doesn't search what is displayed in each tab's page.

HORRIBLE SCAM!

It does not do a thing, just repeatedly returns the error message, "Search query failed". Frustrating and worthless.

Please avoid and if there is a way, remove it from listing in firefox addon search.

move to browser top/autohide taskbar interferes Rated 5 out of 5 stars

can you enable its inclusion with the other editable elements in the toolbar 'Customize' feature ?

windows 7 has pulled the ability to have the Autohiding taskbar not stay on top, and i just can't deal with it 'popping' up everytime i touch the bottom of the window, or even approach it to use something down there. i end up having to carefully 'squeeeeeeze' my way onto whatever icon ... or the taskbar pops up if i miss.

it drives me nuts, but until i resolve my concern, i would like to move ST to the top of the browser.

** side note** d'you know of a workaround for the deleted taskbar behavior setting i'm talking about, besides relocating the taskbar left/right/top ? XP permitted it, and i believe Vista did too.

are you familiar with my dilemma ?

compatibility with FF 16.0.2 ? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I'm not seeing where to access the functionality of Search Tab in Firefox 16.0.2. I would love to be able to search my tabs quickly, but I don't see a text box like is described in other reviews. Thanks Pratik!

Would be better if
- It pops up a list of tabs, one of which you could choose, that match the text entered
- You can change the trigger key sequence from CSf to some other
- And most of all, if it would search in all open windows, not just the current window.

Does not work in FF 16.0.1

PERFECT!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

only add option to change the keyboard combination ctrl+shift+f is too common

Exactly what I need. I have a couple of suggestions:
1) Please add a search history drop down list, which would be more convenient for repeated searches
I mean, when I click the input area, the history would automatically appear. When I click one, it would immediately take me to the next/previous found tab(depending on option, or just stay doing nothing).
You might also want to add "keep search history between sessions" and "clear search history" options to protect privacy.
2) Forward and backward search buttons would be nice

Thanks!

Need wrap when reach last matched Rated 4 out of 5 stars

firfox9.1, search tab 1.9.1.
please make the search wraped when reach last matched!
thanks.

Already Wraps!

Please check. search results are wrapped already. I search from the next tab and it see all the tabs as a infinite loop and searches indefinitely. If you do not see wrapping, it might be because that link is the ony search link in the opened tabs. Please check. Thanks

Dude please make this compatible with Treestyle Tab addon. This goes crazy when the list of tabs hits the bottom where the search field is.

Works with Tree Style Tab and FF 6 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

FF 6.0.2, TST 0.12.2011061701, ST 1.9.1I finally worked out I can make the status bar appear in Firefox 6 with control+/, but the search simply doesn't work with Tree Style Tab.Later edit: Yes it works fine. I didn't realise it only searches forward from the current tab, and not from the first tab. there were no more matching tabs beyond the one I was on, so it did nothing. I think it would be improved by havng it start at the first tab, or cycling around to the first tab after the last match is found, or at least displaying a warning.

This is great; but please make it compatible with Bartab. I usually have 50+ tabs open and use bartab to reduce the memory load. This add-on would be awesoe if it worked with bartab.

BarTab Compatibility

Please check that Search Tab version 2.0 is compatible with BarTab. Thanks

please make it able to search across firefox windows. I have not only 20 tabs but also have 20 firefox windows with 20 tabs, each.

By the end of the month, I will try to launch another version which will take care of multiple windows. Thanks
