Very handy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great addon by itself, but even more powerful in combination with the "Scroll Search Engines" addon.

Excellent add on, as are all your search improvements which I use a lot.

However, today I installed another add on called Scroll Search Engines which basically just allows you to hover your mouse and use the mousewheel to scroll though all the installed search engines.

Naturally combined with your add on, this results in a whole load of tabs opening at the same time!

This of course might sometimes be very useful, but I was wondering if it might be possible to implement an easy off-switch for Search on Engine Change?

Excellent but serious bug needs attention Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Brilliant in it's simplicity. However, as mentioned by others but clarified here, there is a bug:
If you have multiple firefox windows open...
...and leave a value in the search box from a search...
... and then switch to another window and there do a new search...
...this will cause the search in the last window to activate, at whichever tab is open there and with whichever search engine that was passive in the search field.

PLEASE correct this in an otherwise most excellent add-on.

There is a bug in the addon: if you leave a value in the search box, sometimes it open it spontaneously.

incompatible w. Foobar! Rated 2 out of 5 stars

please, make it compatible with Foobar. tested this AddOn and Foobar (only these 2) on a fresh installed (NOT just updated) Aurora 9 and 12.
otherwise a very good AddOn.

Awesome PlugIn! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

In case SOEC has stopped working for you (and worked before), simply quit FF, verify in the Windows Task Manager (or other OSes equivalent) that FF is really closed - if not, kill/ force quit, then restart FF. SOEC should work again (at least that's what just solved a sudden but fortunately temporary non-functionality for me)

"Search on Engine Change" compatibility Rated 4 out of 5 stars

hello!

i use "Search on Engine Change" extension and "Scroll Search Engines" too. with Firefox 2, if i scroll, it doesn't search. It was good, but now, if i scroll 20 times, Firefox 3 search 20 times too.
