Work on popup Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It would be great if this addon works on popup too.

Excellent. It highlights each word separately even inside a string (phrase search).

lightweight addon @10kb

if not toolbar icon , how about providing single key shortcut to highlight / unhighlight , compatible with keyconfig

Only needs a button Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on. I've been looking for this ever since Google Toolbar became incompatible with higher versions of Firefox. Now just give us a button to turn on/off and the add-on will be complete.

I have to give at least 3 stars for this, if for no other reason, because this developer recognized a weak spot in the Firefox Search and Find feature relationships (or lack-of in this case).

Having to retype or copy text into the Find tool that was already just entered into the search bar gets tedious.

Really, this is not bad for a first cut. I do still find it useful. I will toss in my vote for a single icon or Tools menu option to turn the feature on or off, it could be nice to have it stay on between searches, or to just have the toolbar icon/button to turn it on for each search instead of having to bring up the context menu.

Another nice feature to add would be to allow a phrase /multiple words in quotes in the search bar be one highlighted color on the page.

I look forward to seeing your updates.

Does not work at all in FF 7.0.1

It works~ Need a button. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Please consider adding a button to this. My context menu is sort of messy and it always took me a long time to find the location of the highlight function.

It's a good bare bones Rated 4 out of 5 stars

solid add-on, but it needs an icon to start. would be nice if it showed the list of highlighted words in the search bar with respective colors. but again, solid basic program that does what it says it will.

Doesn't work Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It was just the add-on I was searching but unfortunatelly it doesn't work in FF 8.0, no icon is available and no highlights are shown :-(
Is it possible to fix this problem?
Thanks a lot

I don't understand the problem

My extension is compatible with version 8.0. There is no icon at all for my extension. You'll have to open the context menu (right-click in the web page) to select "highlight" or "unhighlight".

A simple and light-weight add-on to replace the original highlight function in Google Toolbar.
Suggestion: Let users can add a highlight button when customizing the toolbar.
