This add-on is a very handy tool if you want to find out how your web site would sound to a blind visitor using a screen reader and having that read the web site via synthesized speech. The output web developers will see in this add-on matches that what Firefox for Android and Firefox OS would speak through a text-to-speech engine. This way, without having to install any screen reader, it is easy to find out if widgets are marked up correctly, form controls are properly labeled etc.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3).
