AutoSave option? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great plugin! It will be great if it can save images without the need to press hot keys or to click on the menu.
Auto Save will make it very useful for automation tasks. For example, in combination with selenium.

indispensable and never-failing in Windows on both firefox and palemoon, and unique in that. Plus you can rename it before saving, which especially in Ubuntu where you can't just batch rename on right click like in Windows saves lots of work. (Changed following developer's help with problem.)

Ubuntu anomaly

I have not tried Save Images in Ubuntu, only Linux Mint and all is working correctly. Could you setup Save Images in your Windows as you have it in Ubuntu and then export the settings and send them to me and I will try to see if there is a problem.

Wonderful addon - but needs some feature updates Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is my personal favorite image saver addon for Firefox. No doubt it is a wonderful feature rich extension.

BUT the web doesn't stand still.
Many websites now start to use .webm movies instead of animated .gif files. And those little animated clip images which were able to be handled by this Addon are now missing.
I would really appreciate .webm support by this addon. So the addon would be able to handle and save .webm files like .gif files.

Conflicts with HTTPS Everywhere Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I had a problem where images were instantly deleted as soon as they were saved. I thought it was a bug until I disabled HTTPS Everywhere, and that fixed the problem. (Not a criticism - just FYI for anyone else having the same trouble.)

I've been using this addon for a year now and it's worked really well for me so far.

建议学学“集图工具(Image Picker)” Rated 5 out of 5 stars

很好的扩展。但,建议向“集图工具(Image Picker)”学习一下,增加一个在保存之前,预览、筛选图片的界面。

No images were found to be saved Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Need a littlle help. Using Firefox 36.0.1 and installed "Save Images" and restarted FF. No matter if I use the R-click "Save Images" or ctl+shift+z wherever the mouse is the message says there are no images to be saved and my chosen folder is not acknowledged either. What to do? Thanks

My bad - check the box in General-save under mouse. Thanks

Works great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

However, current version has a bug. Using v1.0.9 and Firefox v36.0.
In private browsing mode saved images show up in non-private history. Did not happen before I updated to Firefox v36.0 and v1.0.9.

Quick update: just remembered the old version didn't have saved images show up in history in non-private mode too.

Would be nice if there was a toggle for "save in history" which works for either browsing mode.

it used to work fine before, it would let me save up to 400+ images at once but now its extremely slowly and it keeps saving blank pictures "images.jpg" :(

Slow saving

When you say it worked fine before, what version of Firefox were you using? And what version are you using now?

The developers of Firefox have changed they way the images of a web page are stored and so I have had to unfortunately change the way I access the images, which is slightly slower but should not make much difference.
Export your "Save Images" options and send me the file - plashcor@gmail.com

Almost perfect but for osx notification center! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Really great add on
please consider to integrate notification with native osx notification center and not firefox bottom corner,so clickcking the notification banner would also open the saved images other than that is perfect
also it would be nice being able to save soundcloud artwork too!!
thank you!

Newest Update Doen't Work Right Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I used to love this add-on, but the newest update doesn't seem to work properly. Reverted back to previous version and it's fine.

Only problem that I see is that you can't change the default format from Page Preview to something else. If I don't change the format, pictures are often saved as a text file.

Very thorough set of features however could you add middle mouse click shortcut for 'Save images under the mouse' option? So just mouse would enough for saving images.

Extensão com opções boas e diferenciadas quanto a baixar imagens.
Em pouco tempo já o classifiquei como o melhor para tal função.
Melhor que o DownThemAll!.

Exif Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It would be great for JPG files, when saving, there could be an option to populate EXIF data (for example URL of the image)
I also miss single image save (clicking directly on image with right click)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.8).

Exif

This would require modifying the "image" itself, which is beyond the scope of the add-on.
Saving the image with right click has never been part of "Save Images". You can save the image that is under the mouse cursor but it requires pressing a shortcut key that you have defined.

Ótimo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Perfect extension... until.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Extension worked beautifully until latest Firefox update, currently running FF 35.05b, and keyboard shortcuts for this extension were wiped. Now, the options box within this extension won't allow selection of a keyboard shortcut, let alone the ability to change it.. which was the main reason for using this otherwise amazing extension. Thanks developer for all your hard work and time, but this has become pretty much useless to me now, I shall keep my hopes up for a fix sometime soon.
