Almost Perfect Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works as advertised. § The only problem I have is that it resizes immediately upon pressing Alt+[digit]. If you're attempting to enter an Alt-code (e.g. Alt+174 or Alt+21) the window changes as soon as the tool sees "Alt+1" or "Alt+2". It would be nice if it didn't trigger until it sees the KeyUp event and determined it was a single Alt+SingleDigit, ►OR BETTER◄ if it ignored Alt+Numberpad keys.

Could not live without Rated 5 out of 5 stars

When i update from FF42 to 48 i got scared for a moment because this addon was deactivated.
Lucky there was a signed version.
If you want v4.0.1 go to "All Downloads" works as well. I need more than 4 positions.

Update? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great, as far as it goes. But where is version 4? It came for a while but has now disappeared. Is this add-on still supported?

Please add a button that I can add to toolbar as Ubuntu is stealing ALT+keys. Thx.

inaccurate but it can be tamed Rated 4 out of 5 stars

every time you put a size its bad for a few pixels, you have to manually edit every time until you get it right, once they fiix that is the best resizer
sorry for crappy english

Doesn't work. Changes the entered dimensions for no reason, positions window away from configured position. The concept is good, but the developer needs to make it work properly before asking for donations.

inaccurate Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This addon consistently resizes my settings smaller making this practically useless. Using firefox v28.0 and addon v4.0.

edit: doesn't work on recommended version (3.6.2) either, most likely this addon is just out of date and will not work with a current version of firefox without an update

Exactly what I need but +Position option it does not support dual monitors Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I have a notebook that I often use with a 2nd display. ResizeIt does not recognize my 2nd monitor when using +Position option, and always locates the Firefox window to the notebook screen, which is set as my main display. So close....!

Does not work with size bigger than monitor size/resolution! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

the idea of this addon is great, but it does not work for me. i am using ff 21.0 and win7.
it does "restore" wrong position and wrong size when i configure positon and/or size that is bigger than my screen resolution. i have a 19'' monitor and a resolution 1280x1024!
please check this, thanks.

Works great with FF16 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Amazed at how well this add-on continues to work with all the latest beta version. The only suggestion that I have is to add 2 or 3 more ALT options for those with multiple monitor setup. Thanks for the great job!

PROBLEM Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Has problem with position. Cannot restore customized position. Generally it is a very good add-on. Please add an icon for add-on bar.

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This add-on does not function correctly.
I got ALT+1 to size and position fine
and ALT+2
but ALT+3 will NOT properly position the window.
Please provide the source so I can make my own add-on to size and position the window. Which is what I had AS A BOOKMARKLET before they ADDED THE MALFUNCTIONING FUNCTIONALITY that breaks window resizing and positioning. Why do people keep making things more and more painful instead of less and less?

Love it :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm on a Mac and use FF7. ResizeIT works like a charm and it couldn't be easier to use with the keyboard shortcuts! Thank you so much for your time and effort Glenn!

ResizeIT FF add-on...NICE!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a very nice, and frequently used feature. Haldi's suggestion to "update" this add-on for FF5.x works quite well, and I,too, hope it continues to work with future FF updates.

plz update for ff5

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It seems that ALT+1, 2, etc. are the default shortcut keys for changing/selecting tabs in Firefox, so this add-on doesn't work for me at all.

Not worth it Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Despite being listed as working in FF4, it doesn't resize the windows correctly, and screws up the positioning

An extra star for trying to make it save your position, at least, since i'm a bit anal about that, but I've used better resizers, like FireSizer.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

With Version 4 of Firefox the 2"current size" button does not return the actual window size!

Also the hotkeys do interrupt with pdfIT, so please allow the configuration of the hotkeys.

Very useful, especially because of the ability to restore window positions, not just size.

Bugs: Like the previous reviewer, I also have problems using this with my 3840x1024 display. The "Current Size" button does not correctly capture the true window size, it is always (height) about 50 pixels less. Workaround is to enter the height manually.
"Current Position" works, but is awkard to use, badly needs gui improvement, see other reviews. Looks like an internal variable update/refresh problem?
Despite these small bugs, a great add-on, easy to use, very helpful. tnx!
