the location marker is ok :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

"Thanks for your message. One question, if you open the Rain Alarm configuration window manually (right click on the icon), does it show a location marker on the map or not?" Yes, a little red balloon with a black point inside appears in the map, marking the selected position with some accuracy.

Thank you again, I found the problem in the mean time. You are also welcome to send an e-mail next time you encounter an issue. The reason is that Mozilla tries to keep issue reports separate from ratings.

something's wrong with FF 14.0.1 :/ Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After updating to Firefox 14.0.1, the rainalarm 1.2.2 configuration window appears itself in the screen. This event only is seen when Firefox 14.0.1 is starting and LAN connection is not found or when WIFI signal is lost. Thanks :)

Thanks for reporting. I found the problem and uploaded a new version (1.2.3) which will take some days to be approved by the Mozilla team.

I have an idea to improve the extension :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hello again, Mr. Diener :) I think that this extension could be improved with a log with at least the last ten notifications or any number according to the user's requirements. I thought that it could be a good idea a ballon when the mouse is over the icon of the extension, with colour marks according to the proximity of the rain notification. The colours may be assigned for the distances less than 1/2, 1/3 and 1/4 of the user's radius or something similar, and also the rain/snow symbol when it rains or it snows. Thank you again for this extension, Mr. Diener. Congratulations from Spain :)

Very good extension :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you Michael for this new version. Former problems with 16:9 screens are now solved properly. This is the best weather extension ever done and it is too much appreciated in winter in the rainy areas; congratulations from Spain.

The spanish radar system also provides data about whole Portugal, as I can see in the map with near the 95% of the country shown. It also provides long data beyond the spanish-french border and northern Africa coast (Morocco and Algeria). Does it really works in these locations?

Note: in Firefox some configuration options fail in 16:9 screens.

In general if your location is too far on the edge of the coverage, the alarms might be too late in case the rain comes from the direction of the non-coverage. So it basically still works in the areas you mentioned, but not in all cases.

PS: Can you elaborate on the 16:9 screen problem? Not sure I understand. Please send a message to - thanks!
