Support For Fire Fox 5 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi Alex,
Thanks for nice add-on.. I would really appreciate if you make support for FF5 too..so that everyone can continue using your add-on.

This is a very handy tool except for the fact that it doesn't give you an easy way to load or select previously executed HTTP posts and gets. There should be a dropdown or list I can pick from. It really limits its utility as a development tool without this feature. Add that and I'll up my review to 5 stars.

It's a good tool.
But why not to navigate, upload, download into a webdav (or similar http) server?
Thanks.

Result to browser Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is great idea but I would really appreciate possibility to show server response normally in browser so I can continue working with web app in a normal way.

It solved the problem at hand really quickly! It has all the needed features for a tool like this. There is one annoying feature that would really get on my nerves if I were to use it on a regular basis: the response window is automatically centered. In my opinion, no program should ever do that (perhaps except for simple alerts). In general, remembering the last position is a good option, as is letting the window manager do its job. Forcing a fixed position is just plain wrong and really bad for productivity. I'm sure many will disagree with me on this. It's one of those things.

Seems like a good tool. Please put the words Rest and Curl in the description to make it easier to find. I found it from an article on stack overflow after searching the addons directly

Automate POST request to WebService via script Rated 3 out of 5 stars

is it possible to connect to this Add-On via script to use it for automated testing.

It a good App for one time manual testing.

Will be much more of help - if we can use the Poster Add-On calls with say HTTP Post calls to webservices etc.

Great replacement for Curl and very useful to include Google authentication button.

It would be even more useful it had built-in support for cookies.

Thanks.

The best tool to test REST API.

This Add-On is just dead simple and focused on what it ought to do!

I love the app. Used it to debug my Restful APIs on ZendFrame work. Perfect!

Is this useful for SOAP testing? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It would be great if a Firefox plug-in had the same functionality as offered by the Eclipse IDE plugin soapUI. If anyone has any tips on SOAP testing in Firefox using this or other plug-ins that would be great.

No learning curve Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This was so easy to use! I needed a way to post an xml file to a secure site and see the response. I found and downloaded this tool and posted my file and got the response, all in less than ten minutes.

Great tool. Shame about the removal of the sidebar: it was very useful for demos showing how RESTful requests dynamically update a web page. Having to manage both the browser window and the Poster window is a bit fiddly during a demo scenario.

interesting tool
but in my case it doesn't respond to my need:
I need to post an audio file + xml file to test a service, but I can only post 1 file

Also, the add on can be improved: the headers input is not so easy to modify, it will be useful to add an edit button
