Why was Perfect View created?
I thought Firefox could use a better image viewer with integrated loading and saving. The default image viewer in Firefox is slow and has few options, whereas add-ons for image capturing often don't have advanced viewer capabilities. Slide show add-ons for local files often do not have any zoom capabilities.
What's next for Perfect View
The future might bring the following:
> Image file pre-loading to speed up transitions.
> Sliders for changing filter settings.
> Fancy image transitions.
> Several multiple-image views.
> Clipboard functions for input and output.
> Loading linked full-scale images.
> Miniature view of folder and page content.
> Miniature view of saved images.
> Full support for the Australis menu panel.
> Full control of image dimensions for saving.
> Batch operations on image files.
