Doesn't open multiple images selected

MY Favorite Addon!! It was impossible to save an image from a dating site beforer. Now I can! ;-) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent Addon and Great time saver!!
There were times when saving an image, lets say, from a dating site, it was impossible to do with any other way.

But with "Open Image In New Tab" addon, I can do this with no hassles at all!

I have added this to my Top Favorites!! :-)

Works with no problems on latest beta version, it's exactly what I needed. Especially liked the option to turn off tab focus.

Incompatible with Latest Mozilla Browser Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this plugin religiously, but, after updating to the latest Mozilla browser I discovered it's not compatible. Anyone else noticed this? Can anyone help? It also will not work with Palemoon browsers version 25 and later.

Works as expected in Firefox v 27, and even has a very useful option to open in background tab (no focus).
If you combine it with Tab control then the tabs will open next to current tab and not at the very far-end of the tab bar.

@methuzla
Not all images can be opened via middle-click (nor simple click).
All non-clickable images fall in this cattegory (the ones that don't have a link atached, like the ones on "in-page-pop-ups galleries"). They are often resized and if you want to quickly view them in full size you would have to keep opening tabs and pasting their adress one-by-one.
And if you don't want the tabs to be opened at the very far right then read what i've wrote above.

Pointless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Pointless.
Not at all sure sure why I tried this. Default behaviour in FF is to open image in next tab with middle mouse-click, somewhat more efficient.
Not only that, but it opens the image in new tab to the far right of the window (in my case, yards away), so you have to grub around to relocate yourself.
I suppose one could use the addon/always-right. But I can't be bothered.

I think I'd hoped it might be actually useful by acting to:
1) open the new adjacent to parent tab
IMNSHO default FF behaviour to open far right is unclever.
maybe an option for those who prefer default silliness.
2) over-sized images resized to fit.
(Optionally?) (With some notification?).
Retaining default behavior to toggle full-size on left click.
3) maybe resize small images to limit of clear visibility, also.

But it doesn't.

Sorry.

I just want to +1 at what Walterio said, it's the only thing that holds back this addon from being perfect.

Anyways, thanks for your addon :)

Great Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Really great addon. Exactly what I was searching for!

But there is one little minor thing that you could probably improve:
When the tab with the image is opened, it opens on the very right hand side. It would be better if it would open to the right of the tab you are currently looking at - especially when you have many tabs opened. I don´t know if thats possible... Just thinkin.. :)

Anyways great addon!

Shift+Click открыть в новом окне.

This is a great addon: would it be possible to create an 'open background image in new tab' in the right click context menu?

This addon is easy to update. Use Internet Explorer to download the addon then use a zip program like jZip to open the archive and then open the install.rdf with a text editor. Find the line where it says "maxversion" and insert 6.0.2 between the arrows like so: >6.0.2<. Then close and save and then if it you are ask to up update archive, do that as well when closing zip program. Now you have to look for the gear icon on Firefox's extenion's manager and in the drop down menu select Install Addon From File and you should be all set.
