Works for most websites Rated 5 out of 5 stars

When I first started using Nuke Anything, it was to eliminate items on a page that made printing the web page run into multiple dozens of pages. Now ,however, web designers have created these pages with headers that don't go away, social media chppies that follow you down the page, and videos, where if you decide you're not interested in watching it, it pops up in the right column to nag you.

So today I'm using Nuke Anything just to read the article in peace.

But here's the wrinkle, some web designers have figured out how to make the header, the social media chppies and the movie come back like a bunch of damn zombies.

So I concur with a previous reviewer, it needs an update. Please. :-}

GREAT add-on. It needs an update, though. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This review is long overdue, as I have been using it for ages. It pretty much does what it says: get rid of anything on the page. It is useful for printing, to get rid of paywalls/annoying ads, etc.

It also features useful functions such as preview of the deleted area (flashes a big, red border around it when hou hover over the option), delete a selection, undo delete.

Of course, nothing is permanent, and the original page is reloaded when you refresh it.

What makes me put one less star, however, is its incompatibility with webextensions and e10s (electrolysis, multiprocess). The second should not be difficult to implement, if I am not mistaken. For the first one, I don't like mozilla's move of deprecating XUL, but I can understand it.

Now, if someone could port over one of my favourite add-ons... :)

This addon makes it much easier for me to navigate websites with lots of flashing lights. I am prone to migraines, so this helps tremendously. Thank you.

Works just fine in Pale Moon 27 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Appears to work in Pale Moon 27.3.0 in Linux. Blocks whatever you tell it to block, plays nice with uBlock Origin but without adding the permanent cosmetic filters that sometimes later cause problems with uBO.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MULTIPROCESS Rated 1 out of 5 stars

doesn't work on firefox 55 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It doesn't work on firefox nightly 55, maybe it should be rewritten as a web extension?

An excellent addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is an essential tool for browsing poorly designed webpages or getting rid of malevolent popups.

I value this plugin for its simplicity.

Fantastic - should be bundled by default Rated 5 out of 5 stars

My favorite add-on ever! I love getting rid of colored junk before I print. Saves time & ink. Remove distractions from webpage. Truly fantastic.

Does what it says! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension, something that would improve it though would be a keyboard shortcut to nuke things.
I'd love to be able to hold X or something and just click on things to nuke them. Would save lots of time over the context menu.

Great addon but adds 4 items to context (R-click) menu? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Does what it needs to, works well, but does it really need 4 items in the context menu?

- Remove everything else
- Remove selection
- Remove this object
- Undo last remove

Can we have some options to thin it out? Or a sub-menu for it?
They're also not located together in one group, the first two are near the top and the last two are at the bottom

ALSO: Update for e10?

Love it Rated 5 out of 5 stars

HAHA, SCREW YOU FAKE PLAY BUTTONS THAT LEAD TO POP UPS!

Adding to Firefox without permission and even asked for donation when opening Firefox. Just removed it.

Update for multiprocess? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have used this for years. An essential add-on. I don't like browsing without it.

That said, can we have an update for multiprocess? FF49? e10?

Just thank you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I for many years used and has not yet been graded here. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been wanting something like this for many years! If you don't like something in a page, you can simply remove it using the right click menu!
The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't remember anything, so refreshing will undo your changes.

Firefox 40 problem Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Since updating to FF40 nuke anything context menu (remove this object, remove everything else, undo last remove, remove selection) is visible all the time, even when no object has been removed. Is there any chance to fix this bug?
Thanks

EXCELLENT FIX FOR THE NEW 01-2015 PROBLEM WITH FLASHBLOCK AND YOUTUBE Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great Fix! The fix listed in the comment by Shinanai for Flashblock Add on, which references this Add on, Nuke Anything Enhanced, works great for the enormous problem which developed around 01-10-2015 regarding Flashblock Add on no longer working properly on YouTube videos.
