Shame on the web! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

All this talking about future web technologies, real 3D games in browsers etc. and when you have a high resolution display you have to resort to an addon. DPI stuff for proper content scaling should be handled by websites and web browsers, not by users! Shame on the web!

Fantastic, eyesight-saving add-on. Just one question, why I can't I move around the status bar icon? (with right-click/customize)It seems to be locked.

Giving a five star but having issues with my home page being garbled. I don't like some of the wot reviews of the recommended page to report an issue (Github?). Nosquint has worked very well for me in the past.
UPDATE: My iMac has a problem. Nosquint and the other add-on are working perfectly on my new MacBook Air. Glad I gave FIVE STARS!!!

Couldn't Live Without it on Widescreen Rated 5 out of 5 stars

From my 17" Laptop to my 27" monitor, NoSquint has been rock solid and seamless in every way, from it's global settings (which are placed under settings just fine, Re: Recent Comments) to it's per-site settings which are set on the fly without even going into the settings. I don't know how I'd stand surfing without it; Ctrl+ be damned.Thank you so much for your continued development and interest in users' feedback. Keep it up. I wish more software developers would follow your footsteps in that department. It's never once stumbled for me upon Firefox updates in the years I've been using it.

Global Settings? RTFM! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just read your reply to "frascati" and was happy to see that there are "Global Settings"!

I think you should give more prominence to this feature as it has made my Firefox experience so much better on my tiny Netbook screen!

Global Settings prominence

Any suggestions on how to make it more noticeable? What would you expect, as a user?

I do have a Global Settings button on the lower left of every Site Settings dialog. It can also be accessed from the menu (View | Zoom | Zoom Settings) and it's what opens when you click the Preferences button from the addon list.

It's difficult to strike a balance between discoverable while not annoyingly "in your face."

I've found Nosquint to be an overly optioned, complex, and frustratingly unpredictable addon for anyone who simply needs the content on their screen to be readable for aging eyesight. I gave it a good month of review. It kept frustrating me.

A far more elegantly useful option is simply to type about:config into the address bar, click to open, enter the following into the search bar....layout.css.devPixelsPerPx; you will see that default is 1.0. Double click on the result and a window will open where you can change the setting. I found 1.7 to work best for my screen size and resolution. It's readable and displays the full page. Higher numbers are more readable but may not display the pages full content requiring scrolling to the right to view. Not a good option. There are so many different screen sizes and resolutions that you need to just experiment with different settings to get yours right. When you enter the right setting for your screen it ends up being a dead simple straightforward improvement for increasing fonts and images for aging eyes.

Unpredictable how?

The equivalent function in NoSquint is just to slide the global zoom level to where you want it, and then never pay attention to the addon again. So, yes, it does have options -- obviously the point is that people use those options -- but I don't understand why you didn't have a set-it-and-forget-it experience.

Can you elaborate in what way you found NoSquint unpredictable? (I'd appreciate if you can contact me directly, using the Support Email link on the addon page here.)

[request] Colour option for link-undeline Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There is an option: "Always underline links".
Can we have an option to select the colour of the underline?

I set the text black and the link underlined, but the writer of the page have underlined some words. So, It is hard to see which one is the underline for links.

Great; thanks!

A great addon! Absolutely necessary for me, because of my poor eyesight.
My regret with Australis interface (Nightly 28), there is no icon displayed. To view settings, it is necessary display the menu bar, or display the context menu ... much less convenient

Your Invisible Helper Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is an unnoticeable, but infinitely useful add-on that will make it very easy to visit a collection of your favorite websites without the frustration to adjust and reajust the fonts each time manually. Get it for your Firefox and you will never regret!

Me too, except it's a silly, 10" Dell Mini. First computer I ever turned off the Add-on Bar, and add-on icons that are stuck, unmovable in the Add-on Bar are losing convenience. I've been doing a little reading on the add-on-forums, and it's the responsibility of the add-on programmers to make their add-ons moveable around the add-on bar or the menu bar. Now's the time. Can't remove a star, because NoSquint is one of my top-three most important Firefox add ons. Besides "Shift +/-" and "Ctrl-Shift +/-" don't really need to have the control icon displayed.

Very useful tool, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have an ultrabook, so screen height is critical and I'd like to be able to move the control icon to the main tool bar instead to have it locked in the useless plugins bar I always disable.
Something more, with no mouse, how to know if the central button features are useful?
Whatever, good tool

Photo slide show issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The pictures are not shown in the photo slide shows. It has been a problem for years now. Otherwise a good add-on.

Not sure what happened but the button does not show up anymore in toolbar or browser bar. The options do not include adding one either. Used to be great controlling the levels of zoom.

This worked perfectly for so long, but since the last FF upgrade, I get a box that appears asking me if I want no-squint or some default in Firefox. Totally ANNOYING. I need this to function properly and it's not. I've deleted, cleaned cache, reinstalled, etc., several times and it still won't work.

Status bar was removed ages ago, yet no toolbar label/button available for zoom level.

A great addition! Properly increases fonts.

Some problems Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This Addon is useful but with some problems. I don't need its context menu entry, how to remove it? Another problem is its status-bar icon, how to move it to addon-bar?
