Best by far, but bottom tab row now covered. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Still the best, but i have been having an issue that seems to have begun around FF 25, in which the bottom row of tabs (I use TabMixPlux>Multiple tab rows) is only barely visible, most of it is covered by the page window below. .

I have 4 rows now, out of more possible, and over 80 tabs (i do much research and blogging, etc.) but reducing the number does not seem to help.

Changing themes and switching back and restarting fixes it for a time.

Thanks and may God bless.

Best theme i have used Rated 5 out of 5 stars

To put it simple this theme was the best i have used but i am now using firefox nightly version 29.0a1. and this theme is incompatible with it. would you please update your fantastic theme to work with firefox nightly version 29.0a1 ?

also in firefox nightly version 29.0a1 and new versions of firefox we will be losing the add on bar apparently which is a shame so if you could also add an option for an add on bar in the theme settings that would be awesome. thanks for taking the time to read this rather long review

If you look at the main pages top you will notice the link "Australis compatible beta versions". Visiting Noia4s versions page will offer you what you are looking for.

Also there is already an extension out to restore the add-on bar.

If you want more things restored, you should take a look at my add-on "Classic Theme Restorer". All settings are optional and you will get back the add-on bar, the appbutton and a couple of other things. Just set its tab option to 'Australis default' for it being compatible with this themes tabs.

Using experimental Firefox builds sometimes require experimental extensions or extension versions. ;-)

In my Firefox for several years - great look!

Best theme manager !! However, I am using the 1.8.8 on Aurora 28.0a2. The blue color behind the favicon at the bookmarks toolbar is not as pretty as before. Before was a big pretty cloudy blue area behind the favicon, now the blue area was barely noticeable for some favicons (big ones), and small blue area for the smallish favicons. Appreciate it if this can be looked at.

Millions of thanks to your work !

Thanks.

I would like to help you with this, but I do not know what I'm looking for.

For me bookmarks favicons and their background are identical on older and newer Fx/Noia builds.

Noia4 2.0.0 pre1.Thanks for the update. Nice improvement, but with a few bugs. One in particular is that the Back/Forward buttons are too high and barely viewable.I know it will get better in time, but thought I would point that out.Keep up the great job. Much appreciated. :)

O.K. As per your instructions, did a reset, then configured all the settings once again.
Everything is fine, now!

Many thanks! :)

It is fine for me, go to theme manager and make a reset to default values. You have probably an option active, that has to be fixed yet like the "small buttons feature".

Love the options for customization! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Really nice and multiple options for customization. The only thing I would suggest is the ability to retain dark tabs with the addition of personas-the options for customization really decrease once you opt to use a persona
Thank you to Aris, the developer, for replying. Once the grey/dark options are available it will easily make it 5 stars!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.7).

You are right. I'll make gray, black and blue tabs more compatible with Personas on next release.

Edit
You can already test this fix on current v1.8.8pre1 (-> versions page) and report back. It works fine for me, but just to be sure ;-)

Very pretty add on, but one issue Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I really love this add-on. It is compatable with many other cosmetic add-ons, is highly customizable, And gives your browser a nice, streamlined look while retaining the features you have. However I am having some annoying problems with it. First, it will not turn on if I shut off my computer for the night. I have to manually reset, then reconfigure it each day. It works with personas if you set it to, but I have to go in and set it to do this each day. Strange.**Edit** I tried the developer's suggestion and it solved my problem. Thanks!

This is an issue with your profile or your Firefox. Noia 4 can not disable or enable itself. Try it on a new clean profile.

Very nice, a lot of options, icons and seems to be lighter than previous versions (I tested noia2 time ago)

Noia 4 is great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Probably the best theme, that I ever tried on firefox. Glad Aris took over from the old developers. The new configurator for Noia addon works like a charm!

Not working on FF23 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Damn I really like this theme but now it won't work with FireFox 24 so either I go back to 23 or ditch this add on :(. Please update so I don't have to do either

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.6).

Your Firefox profile seems to have some issues. Install Noia4 again from add-ons page. v1.8.6 works fine with Fx 17-27.

Problem - solved! :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hello and thank you for noia.I just have one annoying PROBLEM that occured since few last versions. In older versions: when I point mouse cursor at very top of the screen and click I was able to click the tab.In newer versions looks like there is a small gap between the top of the screen and the tab so I cant quickly and easily go to my tab. Is there any solution to change this - in options somewhere maybe?Thank you for the help.

EDIT: Windows 7, Firefox 23.0.1, latest Noia working ok for me was from february or march this year - I can't back to it now (as I did since today) because of the new firefox which doesn't allow me to install these older versions (guess I would need to instal also older firefox).I mean it was easier to switch between tabs just going top of the screen and than just move left or right and click to switch the tab, now I go top of screen and have to move mouse a bit down to aim at the tab. I can't tell for sure there is a gap between the top screen and the tab, I just assume it is because it behaves like this.

EDIT2:WOW, working great now, thank you, much appreciated! :)))

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.5).

Could you send me some more info about your system?

OS?
Fx version?
Last Noia version that did not have that small gap?
Screenshots?

Edit 1:
'maximized view' was a good hint. The small 1px gap will be removed for next release.
I will also upload v1.8.6pre1 (incl. this fix) shortly.

Edit 2:
Get v1.8.6pre1 from versions page.

NOIA Rulllezzz by Gybril... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Good job !!! I am the fan of NOIA since I install for the first time Mozilla Firefox (in the Mozilla FireFox begining when it was the only FREE GOOD INOVATION alternative of Internet Explorer, in my opinion )... And believe me it was a wonderfull journey with NOIA...
And the road is still ahead... Thank You, NOIA !

Colourful and nice. But on Linux, the text on tabs and many dialog boxes is unreadable when using Smoothly Black or some other GTK themes although all other Firefox themes work fine with it. Strange. This happens with "Blue" theme in Noia, not others. I hope this can be fixed soon as the Blue theme is the one I use.

Thanks.

No such issues on Linux Mint so far. What Linux distribution are you using?

Could you post some screenshots (on support forum) or send them to my email address?

Great fix for what the Mozilla team did to the UI! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Really enjoy this add-on! Without it - I couldn't/wouldn't use FF. During the latest "weekly [rolls eyes]" update of FF to 21~ there is now a white band between the top title bar and menu bar.Full Screen:http://imagebin.org/258098 and sometimes part way across: http://imagebin.org/258099

Update, Testing reveals that all other extensions etc. except Noia disabled it still demonstrates the gfx glitch. However, running through troubleshooting I found that actually turning on Hardware Acceleration fixes the glitch. (Yes that has to be a first!).

A New profile with only Noia 4 installed does not demonstrate it initially, but will import my favorites and etc. and see if all goes well.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.2).

Hi,
this doesn't happen here (tested on Fx 21-24).

Have you tried to setup a new clean profile?

Could you send me an email or go to the support forum, where we can discuss this, if the glitch still exists on a new profile?
