This add on allowed me to stop using Chrome and I'm glad to be back using FireFox! I wish the preview screens could be centered when changing the amounts, also the purple and blue folders that appear with each tab is really ugly and they need to go! For some reason a few of my top pages have not preview picture and I dont know why cuz they did on chrome...

Also I would like to be able to right click one of my preview panes and open it in a new tab, that would allow me to open alot of my favorites at the same time without having to open a new tab over and over.

If you can give it a look like Super Start addon, it would be awesome.

useful and nicely done, lots of flexibility for the new tab page.would like to see a 'double row' option for the toolbars so that they could display more icons before it puts the extras in a dropdown menu... or maybe a setting where you could specify how many rows you want a toolbar to be (max, if needed), as well as a 'autosize' option where it would be as many rows as it needs to display all the bookmarks specified.

thumbnails way off center Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This addon almost does everything I want, but the preview thumbnails are not centered in their boxes at all.

Nice, but the thumbnail is not centered in the box. All my thumbnails have about 2cm of white space to the right of them. It's like they're displaced to the left a bit.

This works great out of the box - like Google's New Tab this add-on keep the sites I visit often ready accessible by opening a new tab - the only feature I missed from Chrome. Thanks for building and sharing.

Bug Report Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Tested with firefox version 4 and if I pin a panel, to a specific page, then clear my history, Jumpstart does not remember the pinned panel. Testing the same workflow in chrome and the panel is remembered but lacking an image.

Size of Thumbnails Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I figured out how to add bookmark bars. Awesome! Now the only suggestion I have is being able to make the thumbnails bigger, as I only use 4x2 setup I'd like them to be bigger.

Fantastic addon!
Would you consider adding a button to show more
recently closed tabs\bookmarked pages? Thanks!

I really like this addon, much more useful than a blank tab.
Would it be possible to have more control on the thumbnails? Be able to select manually a link for some of them and maybe choose an auto-refresh delay like Opera, for example?

Good addon. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm liking this, i just have one question. What sites exactly are shown on the speed dial (the thumbnails in a grid)? Because when I downloaded this addon, it put some of the most obscure, least visited websites I've been to on there, and I can't seem to change that. I assumed it would show the thumbnail of your most visited sites or something like that, is it just bugged or something?

Jumpstart focus on search Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just go to "about:config" and change the value of "mlalevic.jumpstart.focus_on_search" to false. TO THE AUTHOR: Love the new features!

It's a nice add-on to simulate Chrome, but as Amir Y said there's a problem with the search box capturing the cursor focus. As I'm using Omnibar add-on, I was used to copy stuff (CTRL+C) then open new tab (CTRL+T) and paste it (CTRL+V) in the URL bar (Omnibar powered) so this add-on when that "stuff" is to search, it works great, but when it's an URL it fails, because I have to move the mouse cursor in the Omnibar then click it, and finally paste the URL. I know somebody explicitly asked for this kind of behavior, but as for some people this is annoying, you could add an option to configure this focus capturing or entirely removing the search box keeping the focus in the URL bar.

This is a very nice add on. At the moment an option to auto focus on firefox address bar when activate jumpstart would be nice too.
