quite good Rated 5 out of 5 stars

have used a few other start page addons and I really like the intuitive and easy setup of this one. quick to add new shortcuts, and a surprise feature which is very useful... groups which can be seen and clicked quickly. thanks for thinking about the end user on this one. much better than the ultra complex and fancy new tab apps.

Very useful, I don't know why this isn't integrated in Firefox. But I'd love to disactivate optionally the last opened tabs and bookmarks. I want to only see my saved bookmarks. Nice would be to optionally show installed apps, too.

Best new tab add-on yet Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Well, almost the best. I'd give it five stars if I were able to drag a link onto the page. Customization is simple, from choosing your color background or using a picture from your computer, to the number of thumbnails showing. Once you visit one of the sites one time the thumbnail fills in. That works better than any of the other tab add-ons I have tried. I don't want any of my bookmark toolbar sites to appear on the tab page, but there is a convenient option to reinstate any of the sites you have blocked in case you change your mind. It doesn't open in a new tab when you click a thumbnail, and it would be nice to have that option, but that can be fixed with Open Bookmarks in a New tab.

nearly awesome Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I was looking for a plugin to save space on the screen. This plugin looked awesome - but then it opens a bar at the top with Google, Yahoo, Amazon etc. I mean really - are you seriouse? If I want to go there I make a bookmark myself. Let us save space please!

Great add-on, but please put in option to open links in new tabs.

Mozilla should handle the new-tab like Chrome!!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

What I like of this extension is the way to add bookmarks or history as a row above the page thumbnails. But it also messed its speed dial, pages just keep changing order.

*Mozilla should handle the "new tab" by default like Chrome. Simply copy the default new-tab of Google Chrome, or is this asking too much?

solo iconos Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Firefox, has no option to display recently opened or closed tabs on the new tab unless you add an add-on for it . So i have tried various add-ons and nothing was so satisfactory as new tab jump start. But i was astonished to see after updating to firefox 13 i no longer need this add on cause new firefox 13 update fulfills your space but still you will be missed alot :( thanks for the service. A 5star for you.

Great potential Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Really a nice addition to the basic functionality, with little improvement this could be the thing. However, I'd personally really like to be able to rename the thumbnail titles, using the title of the web page can get confusing. Also, manually rearranging the thumbnails doesn't work: when trying to change one page to other thumbnail slot, the page in the target slot opens and the order is not updated.

Meh Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I used this for a couple of weeks. It's not all it's cracked up to be. The previews rarely work without user intervention, and even then they don't stick. The same site will usually take up multiple tiles. The layout design and pattern isn't very attractive.

Quite good, for a beta. glitches I found: when I mark a thumbnail for deletion or pinning, I need to reload the page for the change to take effect. Also, the usual Context Menu is disabled. Finally, a feature request: I don't need the search box; please include an option that lets me remove it.

I was looking forward to this, but unfortunately it's too buggy (Ubuntu, Fx10) at the moment to use. Popular pages and thumbnails don't update at all, and I have various elements that I added to the page in error that can't be removed anymore. This add-on has potential, but hasn't gotten it down quite yet.

One feature request :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Exactly what I was looking for : i tried NewTabKing (was slowing down firefox plus uselessly heavy) then Foxtab (good but slow, and with features i didn't need).

This one is definitely the best !
Keep it simple and lite please :)

ONE feature i'd like is make optionnal history and bookmarks indexing. This because i'm getting tabs of my history i don't want in the homepage

Thanks :)

Works as advertised, but I found a compatibility issue between this and Load Tabs Progressively. Whenever a tab is unloaded, the name is changed to "chrome://jumpstart/content/tabView.xul". If either extension is disabled, this no longer happens. If this can be fixed I'd LOVE to use these extensions together.

Excellent addon with nearly complete configuration options. If it were possible to middle click on the thumbnails and so open them in a new tab it would be perfect.

I think that default background should be gray (more eye friendly). Bookmarks appear with little delay 1-3 sec so I switch back to Firefox default bookmarks bar.

Great work, thanks.
