Very useful! Good Extension

It fixes a stupid decision made by Firefox designers Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for making this addon.

Firefox designers keep messing things up non-stop. Among the mess, there's many new design decisions that are good.

I don't mind any design decision. The thing I hate is when designers try to FORCE decisions on the user. There should always be an advanced settings panel to disable all these stupid concepts.

Stupid concept: Stopping me from setting the new tab to my homepage (google). And DISABLING me from setting it back to what I want. The only 3 default options are

1. To display "suggested" websites.
2. Display the websites the user visits the most.
3. A blank new tab. That is stupidity in my opinion.

NO OPTION TO BYPASS ALL THIS CRAP...

THANKS for making this addon!

Many add-ons I install now are to fix problems that the designers impose on the user with each update.

A very useful add-on, but suddenly the focus has recently been lost if using Google as your homepage requiring you to now manually click in the search box.
I suspect this is Google making a change rather than a fault with this add-on.

Great add on. Usually a new tab page comes up but now I can have my search engine come up.

Awesome little plug-in ... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly, was actually ready to give up on Firefox and go back to IE before I found this. Thanx

This extension is very useful at avoiding the horrendous new tab page firefox offers by default. Very good and useful.

This worked great when I used it long ago. Now I just go to about:config and change the browser.newtab.url to about:homepage.

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

works great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Make cursor work in field Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this program. But when I open a new browser window, I would like to have the cursor already in the search bar, as the initial window does, ready for input. Can that be done?
Thanks!

Regretfully none of the new tab homepage add-ons seem to work in FF 30, including this one. The new tab just opens a blank page. :(

Works great. Solved my issue in under a minute. Well done! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sadly surprised this app isn't a standard Firefox function.
However, very pleasantly surprised to find "New Tab Homepage" app works as promised.
Well done, much appreciated. Thank You!

note: i'm using FF28/FF24ESR (say no to australis!)

My "Must Install" add-on for every installation of Firefox I perform! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

1. It works like it should. No frills, no fluff, no adverts, the only thing it does is load your home page when you launch a new tab.
2. Extremely lightweight. At only 4k I can install this on machines with limited resources, (assuming it can actually run firefox!) without worry.
3. *Every* time I install Firefox, either for myself, on a server, or on one of my client's machines, *THIS* is my "must install" add-on, even if I install nothing else.

Does exactly what it says it does.

Has a bug in it. It reloads the current page.

And it messes up the rendering of the page.

Well this is quite handy in certain situations!
