Another Opera-mimicking feature. It has highlight selected links on page feature, but at the same time lacks much more meaningful features - bookmark selected links and download selected links.

A little sluggish until you find the 'Lock' button. Overall a great, time saving tool -especially when combined with Raven Site Audit or similar.

copied links in separate lines Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very good extension!
Some remarks. When coping more then one link it just splits links to each other. It would be great to put each copied link in separate line.

This used to be one of my favorite add-ons. If you have a page with hundreds of potentially interesting links, it will help you drill down to the relevant stuff. Unfortunately, as of now, it doesn't work in FF 3.6, not even when overriding compatibility.

Also, I second firefeast's ideas: It should be possible to only list links ...
- from a selected section of the current page
- of a certain target file type.

And being able to sort/filter/drill down by the domain/site of the link targets (using a tree-style display) would be great, too.

With these features and FF 3.6 compatibility added, LinkSidebar would be a power-user's dream.

Pretty please? :)

Addon Updated

The addon's been updated to work on Firefox 3.6.

You can get an approximation of searching for a file type by searching for ".jpg" to show only links to jpeg images.

The other suggestions are great, and I'll be implementing them in future version of the addon.

Good plugin and on right direction.

Some important suggestions.

1) Links in highlighted/selected area only (Important)
2) Links of particular type only (depending on the page -- html, jpg, js, css, ...)
3) Links from particular domain only.
4) combination of above.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9).

Good ideas

I'll be implementing them in a future version. For now, you can get an approximation of suggestion 2 by searching in the search box, the search term ".jpg" would show only links with 'jpg in them.

I'll add support for the rest real soon.

Quick link inventory Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Good work! I would definitely appreciate these added features: 1) option to toggle highlighting all links in the page 2) option to toggle highlighting a link in the page when mousing over the link in the sidebar.

Done!

This has been on my to-do list since the beginning, actually. I've finally implemented it for v. 1.0.0 of the extension.

Excellent! Very handy when dealing with lots of links, esp. in lists. Thanks very much for developing this one.

Great extension. Very useful. I would love the Test Status column to contain the test result in ms so I could find the fastest good link also.

Added feature!

I added this feature, you can now see test results in milliseconds if you enable it in the preferences (Tools->LinkSidebar Preferences->Testing).

Fantastic Work! Love it! Very handy even to not-developers, to open or copy links wanted. I would like a toolbar button, and an option to open a single link by double click or middle click.
